Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Loved it! This is great- reduced startup time from ~4 min to 40 sec! Much needed upgrade.

I now have two of these drives and have had no issues with either. Samsung is a favorite brand of mine and continues to deliver quality products.

OK, The Samsung SSD itself is Blazing fast, however, that is only part of The Experience. The small box arrived with the SSD and a tiny insert stating Go to the website for Doc and Utilities (in 9 languages). I went there (the first of two provided links did NOT take me to the appropriate page, the 2nd one did. (FWIW Im an IT guy, and know well, how important documentation and instructions are). I downloaded the 2 software packages and associated Doc PDFs.

I upgraded my 1TB HDD to 2 TB SSD. You cant imagine how much faster this drive is from a traditional HDD. A few youtube videos on cloning my hard drive, and a little courage and shazam! Very happy with the improved performance, reduced power consumption, and reliability.

Samsung SSD was as described. Quick, well-made and with the best cloning and support software in the market. Costs just a little more, but it is simply the best SSD.

I have an Intel based desk top computer I built in 2009. It works great for what I do but I was starting to get concerned about the old hard drive. After some research I decided to replace it with this Samsung SSD. I bought the drive, a mounting bracket and installed it a couple of days ago.

Brought my computer back to life and gaming has never been better. Why didnt I get one sooner. I even got mine on sale at the time ($140 for 1tb)

The ssd hd works fine. The installation was hard for me because i had dual booted it for windows and linux, and only tried to copy windows at first. That did not work at all. Could not remove grub boot loader at first had to reinstall linux. But it was fine eventually, now i have both on the same drive again. The drive is significantly faster than my old hard drive which was not ssd.

I really like this brand because they made the installment of transferring data from one ssd to another ssd very simple. Follow the instructions.
