> 3 dayThis SSD saved my 4 year old desktop from the scrap heap. My i7 with 16GB RAM had slowed to a crawl and it turned out the bottleneck was the the HDD only transferring .2 MBps. This SSD has the old computer running better than new. Some data intensive programs (or apps as the call them now) that used to take 20 minutes, now only take 2 minutes. I also bought the transfer cable and mounting bracket. The old drive was so slow it took 26 hours to clone 270GB.

Greater than one weekMy Dell Micro 3050s Windows 10 startup process was a snails pace due to 100% Disk utilization. I would need to step away and get coffee because it was so slow. After replacing the drive with the 860 EVO SSD, its smooth sailing. All apps load quickly and I can get to work immediately. And for the price, how could anyone pass this up?

Greater than one weekWhat should I write? That it has a perfect ratio between storage capacity; performance; TLC flash; having one of the best controllers on the market and endures like a mofo - all for its asking price! Please, once you buy Samsung SSD, all praise becomes self-explanatory. It justifies it all.

> 3 dayI put it in a mid 2012 macbook and it is a very much needed upgrade. Doesnt take but a second to fully start up now and is way faster at processing things. I dont use this for any gaming so i cant speak on that side of things but im sure it would work very well. Over all quite pleased

> 3 dayI upgraded the teeny tiny hard drive in my W530 Lenovo ThinkPAD because I was out of space and running slow.

> 3 dayI use this as a mass storage drive as I migrate my entire storage to SSD. For gaming I store my main games on an M.2 drive for full speed. I use SATA SSD drives for less used games.

> 3 dayAn SSD is supposed to be so much faster than a standard HD drive. It seems a bit faster but I dont notice much difference when compared to a standard drive at 7200rpm. Since the price is almost 4 times a standard drive, Id say not worth it. The kicker is when the tech said they last about as long as a standard drive, about 5 years with frequent use. Plus you need a special bracket which adds to the cost.
