The download speed is very fast.

For the most part a great piece of hardware. Once in a while my Lenovo laptop has a bit of trouble recognizing that it is plugged in so I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Dont know if thats a laptop thing or T7 thing. Only a minor annoyance tho. Good product.

Very easy to use. It holds an enormous amount of data. The wife wants one but they are too expensive to purchase another.

I have a T3 and needed a replacement for an HDD. I went with this over the SanDisk and I am so pleased! Lightning fast speeds, lots of storage, well built, super slim and light, looks great, comes with perfect length cables. For the price, its a little more expensive than a couple other brands by like twenty bucks, but I think its worth it. Get this one!

Do not install the software that comes with it, it came with a malware that got my passwords stolen and took $300 from my paypal, had to cancel my paypal and bank account, got my money back but it was a pain in the arse, also make sure to use 2-step verification on all your accounts, as for the hard drive itself its good, just make sure to format it asap, or get a strong antivirus, pretty sure its not samsungs doing but some lone hacker who probably works in the factory in china or other asian country

Bought this to store and run my ps4 games on my ps5 and it works perfectly. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Hopefully well be able to play ps5 games off of it soon too, since Sony has recently made it possible to store them on external drives. But for now, like I stated first, Im storing and playing ps4 games on ps5 with this.

On average using Samsung Magician READ (975) and WRITE (899). This is on 3.1 Gen 2 pc. My laptop (probably 6 or so years ago old, under these scores but not far off.

This drive is fast needed to back up my stuff. It backed up 38 gigs of files in 12mins need a bigger one though

Love this external SSD. I should of bought a 2 TB but, money constraints. I recently bought a MSI GE76 Raider which doesnt come with a second drive and dont want to open the back up for loss of warranty for the year so, this is a very good option for now. I can transfer large files at about 780 MB /S but, a little tweak is in order to get those speeds.

2020 Macbook M1 Monterey. Rarely mounts. Basically unusable. Too late to return.
