    Samsung Portable SSD T7 1TB is trash. Avoid this drive. Internal corrosion renders useless in less than a year. Warranty is difficult process requiring return to Samsung at own expense and wait for process.

    It’s so small, lightweight and pretty. I have a 2021 24” iMac and use this ssd as my time machine disk. It takes a few minutes to finish my first back up (234GB) and only a few seconds to transfer a video. It does get hot when the time machine is running. But it doesn’t bother me too much. I’m satisfied with the product.

    I love this lil guy. Way wayyy more sturdy than my portable HDD, whose usb type B port came loose and got wobbly. This one is very secure and I feel confident the housing wont fail any time soon. Im not rough with it and dont throw it around, but it hasnt given me any trouble yet. It doesnt even get warm which is great

    Bought two, they were on sale at the time. Highly recommend SSDs. I had an older hard drive go out on me, and almost lost all my data. These are not as prone to internal damage.
