    Use it as second bootable drive for os10.15 iMac 27. Slightly faster than the Mac internal flash drive. Good enough as its usb 3. Barely warm to the touch.

    Connected it to my Macbook Pro with the USB C connector, and it was plug-and-play from there. I did not have to reformat: just loaded Time Machine, pressed back-up and the rest was automatic. Amazingly fast--backed up 160 GB in less than an hour. Highly recommended.
