    I bought two of these 1TB T7 SSD to replace two older 5TB spinning hard drives. They are used as Time Machine backup drives for the Mac mini. The speed increase and access time decrease are incredible. It is hard to estimate how much faster these new T7s are, but suffice it to say they are orders of magnitude faster. Time Machine does its backups and I dont even realize its happening. For me, a very good upgrade!

    The disk worked properly for about a month, and then I encountered serious problems that resulted in the file copying process getting stuck, windows barely responding. only after I disconnected the cable did the computer start working again.

    Keeps going back to read only after being formatted for time machine. That being said, this piece of crap can only be used as a time machine disk or an external ssd, cant do both at the same time. Will return.
