Sennheiser HD 600 - Audiophile Hi-Res Open Back Dynamic Headphone

To be specific, lower tones in the right ear makes a very subtle static noise but very noticeable to me. I’ve never dropped these and kept them clean because of how expensive they are but the audio problem just randomly popped up after a month or so. I was hesitant on leaving a review because I wanted to get an entire feel for the headphones. I’ve read so many positive reviews thinking these headphones would be a good replacement for my Audio-technia ATH-M50Xs. Although the only way to get the “best” out of these headphones is buying a dac/amp (like the schiit Asgard for example). The feel of the ear-pads and headband are very nice but the sound quality and bass are extremely quiet and lacking. I’ve used them on my electric piano, my computer and my phone and have had to turn up the volume way higher than I would the m50x’s. Given how hyped up these seemed hearing things like “really good mid range” “smooth” or “dynamic” is what lead me to buy these. However for the price, I’d highly recommend m50x’s over these.

Crips highs, clear voices and instruments, not overpowered lows, thats how I resume the sound performance of the very amazing HD 600. The only drawback for me is the pale esthetic of the cans, otherwise I would have given all 5 stars.

I have been buying headphones for years now, looking for just the right one. It has been a long journey, but I am finally here. The last pair I owned was a pair of Stax electrostatics that was so uncomfortable I could only wear them for half an hour at a time. (It doesnt matter how good headphones sound if they hurt you.) The HD 600 is the last headphone Ill buy. It does exactly what I want with precision, grace and charm, and I can comfortably wear them all day long. Anything above this gets so far past the point of diminishing returns that it would become embarrassing and financially foolish for me to go there.

Je réfléchissais depuis quelques temps pour renouveler mon casque Sennheiser HD265 Linear et je tombe à 8h00 du matin, hier , au démarrage des soldes, sur ce modèle soldé à 135 Euro au lieu de 327.

These are absolutely top notch - super neutral sounding, very very good detail & just overall brilliant. Had to re-listen to a bunch of old favorites and I could hear totally new things.

Well known headphones I have them paired to a magi/modi and these headphones really are great. When you first put them on they feel a bit tight (clamping force) but after adjusting the headband a bit and wearing them for about half an hour they settle in and are actually quite comfortable. I mainly listen to vocals and this headsets sound stage is perfect for it. Bass isnt emphasized here like it is with a lot of other headphones so vocals come out clear rather than being drowned out by the bass. On the other hand these headphones wont give you that boom that comes with bass centered headphones.

good headphones, good sound, well designed, light...shop around you can get a new pair for $340...much better than HE-500

Ho sentito spesso parlare di queste cuffie, ma avevo troppi pregiudizi riguardo al classico suono sennheiser. Ora vi parlo della mia esperienza dopo circa 1 mese di ascolto. Iniziamo da un aspetto molto importante: il confort.
