    Simply the best neutral and natural sound for the price. More neutral (natural), but less lively and exciting than its sister the HD650, but simply the most natural balanced sound you may get at a reasonnable price. The headphone has been on the market since the 90s, but this shouldnt stop you. Sennheiser has experience and has known for many years how to make exceptional balanced headphones, and this model is one of the best example. Designed by Sennheiser in Germany and produced in one of their best plants, located in Ireland. It is a best buy, in particular if you can get it at a reduced price on sale on Amazon. Im sure that these headphone will last for years and are fully repairable, being built with fully modular parts, all of which are replacable. I use them with a small inexpensive headphone amp, which pairs wery well: an Objective O2 from Massdrop (an open source design also available from manufacturer JDS Labs on their website or on Amazon).

    I received these a few days ago and I was surprised how light the shipping box was. I honestly thought there was nothing inside it but packing material. When I opened it up I was even more surprised to find a tiny (and very light) Sennheiser HD600 box.

    it was open box,looks like not the brand new,but a song quality is awesome,compare my RS 175 ,its more clear and a detail, bass is a little less,I used PS3 to listen my CD,DVD,Spotify, thanks.

    Great detail, sound stage, midrange snd top end are compiling. I’ve sat Tuen to listen to a ding dnd next thing i know it’s been a couple of hours.

    Highly rated of course..... thats why I bought these. After spending hours checking on good open back headphones. My thought is that they just dont offer the correct response of the bass. And bear in mind, I didnt want headphones that overdo or color the bass signal although these I think just do not offer the real response. All of that is questionable though!
