> 3 dayDelivery was super quick, product packaged very well. The headphones? Only proper other set of headphones I own and can compare too is the Sennheiser HD 540 Ref II - the HD 600 is every bit as clear and high def, but with added oomph in the lower ranges. Sound Blaster Z as source, am really loving the sound, turned off the crystalizer and bass sound enhancement as well as the equalizer as it is not required with the HD 600. Excellent headphones.

> 3 dayI bought these a couple years back for 300 when they were on sale so Ill testify to the fact that they still work and sound even more beautiful then the first day I bought them. The lows are a bit weak (bass) but the mids and highs are excellent though its nothing to worry about as Im a basshead so if theyre okay for me theyre okay for you. These headphones also have excellent shielding even though my PC doesnt and silences a lot of the crappy ambiance especially after burn in.

> 3 dayIve owned quite a few $1000-plus headphones, including the Sennheiser HD-800s. Available at a very attractive street price, the HD-600 are a completely respectable headphone, especially when paired with a good dedicated headphone amplifier. The HD-600s are not the last word in detail, transparency, spatial character or bass reach and definition- but they are VERY GOOD, fairly neutral, having just a slightly dark presentation with good detail and unexaggerated, taut bass. They are also fairly comfortable, well made and pretty rugged. They are nice for classical, acoustic and electric jazz and - unless you are a BASS HEAD and require exaggerated bass- good for rock, techno, hip-hop, etc etc.

Greater than one weekI own Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones and the HD 600s blow them away with accuracy, low-end reproduction, and sound field. The 600s are open-back headphones so they bleed a lot compared to the nearly-silent bleed of the 280s. They are very comfortable and the build quality seems solid so far. These headphones are not like other headphones that just put sound directly into your head. Instead, they create a space for the sound to float in front and around your ears that feels like youre in the room of the recorded music. Panning is far more distinct in this space. With the HD 600s, I can hear the shell of a kick drum resonate instead of just a thump. I wasnt immediately impressed with these headphones because of the other high quality headphones Ive tried, but the more that I listen to music with them, the more I LOVE these headphones. For anyone looking for reasonably priced headphones to mix with, this is now my #1 recommendation. They are much cheaper than buying studio monitors and sound treatment.

> 3 dayGot these for home audio engineering, and couldnt be happier. Would recommend for that purpose and for simply listening to music at home. Sound is clear, defined, and to my best ability is as close to a flat response as you will find. Very comfortable which is important because I will wear these for hours at a time.

> 3 dayI bought these headphones when they were a gold box deal. I cannot believe I got them for such an excellent price. The sound clarity and balance is superb and the comfort is unbelievable. The perfect luxury accessory for my macbook pro.
