> 3 dayI gave these headphones a good week or so to burn in, but throughout the whole period and beyond there was crackling in the left ear. I thought it would go away after a few days of burning in, but I was sadly mistaken. The sound from these headphones is good -- it is clear and all of the frequencies are balanced nicely. I do have to say that although the sound quality is good, it doesnt reflect the high price. Ive had a pair of Sennheiser HD205 headphones that cost me 40 pounds 3 years ago that are still serving me well to this day, and the sound from them isnt that much different, at least to me anyway. So, Ive gone back to them for now. Price isnt everything, lesson learnt I guess.

> 3 dayGreat headphones for sound quality but know they are open back so you will not have noise cancellation. And there is a lot of sound bleed thru so if you have a mic too close it will pick up the sounds from the headset. Otherwise great company with great products would buy again.

> 3 dayI purchased these headphones as a replacement for my previous ones which I sat on by accident, I had my previous ones for a long time so I thought I would invest a bit more this time as once you try good headphones you will really notice the difference between cheap and good ones.

03-04-2025i have been an electronic music fanatic for many many years. techno, house, tech house, progressive house, deep house, etc. i have been producing music for about 3 years. i really wanted a very nice pair of headphones for checking my mixes on as well as for listening to music on without throwing off my ears. my studio monitors are the event opals. i am very picky about my sound. i did tons of research and found a bunch of open and closed back candidates in my price range (up to $500). these were the sennheiser hd600, sennheiser hd650, sennheiser hd25 ii, akg k701, grado sr325is, denon ahd2000, ultrasone pro750, beyerdynamic dt770 and dt7880. i was able to obtain all of them and spent about an hour with each one. without going into tons of detail, i found the hd600s to be by far the best headphones in the group, as well as the best headphones i have ever heard. the 650s are nice too but i found the bass to be mushy (they have more bass - directed to the average person that likes more bass, not the audio engineer). in 2nd place were the denon ahd2000, which sounded great, especially for closed headphones. up next were the hd25s, although i think they would be much better for djing. their sound was much more aggressive and up front. i am completely in love with the hd600s and all i can say is that i HIGHLY recommend them. i finally found a pair of phones i really love! absolutely phenomenal.
