Sennheiser HD 600 - Audiophile Hi-Res Open Back Dynamic Headphone

The 600s are the standard by which all reasonably-priced reference headphones should be judged IMO. They are very neutral with a mouth watering, detailed mid-range like few others.

Einfach ein super bequemer Luxuskopfhörer: da stimmt alles, von der Verpackung in edler Holzschachtel bis zu einem superdifferenzierten sound. Habe ihn jetzt schon eine Weile und ich würde ihn nicht mehr hergeben.

Ho avuto la fortuna, nel corso di questi anni di avere e provare un pò tutte le top della Sennheiser dalla mitica HD580 alla attuale HD800. Bè a dirla tutta, la HD600 è la migliore per un semplice ma importantissimo aspetto: EQUILIBRIO.

Absolutely the best headphones Ive ever used, incredible sound quality and clarity, im glad I didnt go for the 650s as these have plenty of bass for me. The only possible complaint I would have is that the clamping force is too tight, but even after a few days it seems to be looser.

Wow, unglaublich klarer, transparenter und natürlicher Klang.

Absolutely love these headphones after I broke them in. At first, they sounded a bit too muted for my taste. but then, I went ahead and got a better sound card with an AMP, and it was like nothing Ive never heard before. Bands like Infected Mushroom, Crystal Method, and Skrillex sounded more realistic, while Metal bands like Nine Inch Nails sounded as if they were in the same room.

These have gotten better with age. The more you play them the better they get. My neighbor offered and I accepted $300.00 for my year and a half old HD600s. He went to BB and bought a pair of HD650s and mine sounded far better. I did tell him it takes time to break them in. The question is get another pair of these or are the HD650s better?
