    We received the item today on time. This is a xmas gift. When i picked up the box, there was something obviously bouncing around inside the box. Because this is a gift, i didnt want to open the box, but i did anyways. As i expected, the box has been previously opened. This is supposed to be a new item so i am pissed. Hopefully all the parts are in the box.

    Still among the best of the best. Will compete with anything regardless of price. A no brainer at this price. These do need a powerful amp to run them. Again, you need a powerful amp to run them

    I was hesitate at the moment if I need this upgrade from my current HD598 before I purchased this headphone. Really awesome to listening without fatigue, worth the money I spent ! Highly recommended for audiophile and movie listening!

    Got these headphones 4 years ago for $200, and have since used them constantly. Not only are they built to last, but if something does break, you can replace it. For example, my devil-cat bit through the cord a few weeks ago, so I ordered a replacement cord(Silver Dragon) that can be installed by anyone in a few minutes. Needless to say, the sound is incredible, and the pads are so soft that I can wear them for hours at a time. There are many replacement accessories for audiophiles, so the skys the limit. The marble-swirl finish on the outside is also a nice touch. If you wear headphones a lot, you really owe it to yourself to get the best!
