> 3 dayJavais des hd-500, rien à voir avec les HD-600. Les 600 ont un son spatial et sans voile. Mon Fiio X5 sonne comme une tonne de briques.

> 3 dayive been a sennheiser fan since my first pair of 555s about 8 years ago. i then upgraded to a set of the 595s. i watched some reviews which said the 600s walk the perfect line between quality and price and i completely agree. if you have an amp that can push these bad boys to their potential, they are totally worth it. i have them paired with a sound blaster x7 and couldnt be happier.

03-04-2025I want to say up front that I am not an audio enthusiast. I recently decided that whenever I bought something, I would buy something nice that will last instead of replacing cheap stuff all of the time. I initially wanted something for games and knew that proper headphones were the way to go. I read all kinds of reviews and went with this older, but apparently timeless set. I only have them plugged into my motherboard (Asus ROG Strix x570) until I get an amp...Holy crap I didnt know all the noises and sounds I was missing! Then I tried some music, just Spotify streaming quality, and OMG I want to listen to everything I have heard again for the 1st time! I can not wait until I get an amp for these. Despite what people say though, I dont think I need and amp. I just want to see how far they go. The onboard audio gets plenty loud enough on this high end motherboard. Last note.. do NOT buy these if you are concerned about outside noise. If you arent listening to a loud section you can and will hear outside noise. They are open backed, which believe it or not means OPEN back

> 3 dayI love these. I always had good ($50-$100) headphones, but with the embarrassing amount of time i spend on my computer i decided to simply buy the best. These headphones are the current best quality headphones on the market (without spending $1000+). When you are watching a show or movie, it sounds as if the characters are actually in the room. I did not know what i was missing before I started using these. Note that you could save a bit of money by simply buying last years model (Sennheiser HD 598 open back for $200) for very similar quality, these are only slightly better maybe 10% better.

> 3 dayThese headphones were a major improvement over my last array of subpar headphones. The HD600s are extremely detailed and feel much more open than my other closed back headphones. I am using this with the Fiio BTR-5 at the moment, it sounds great out of it despite not being directly supported by the product. I am planning on getting a more suited piece of equipment for the HD600s (amp/dac) at some point. But the HD600s already sounds great out of the fiio Btr5. If you dont listen to super bassy music, and you want to get more out of your music, I would highly recommend the HD600s, with the right AMP/DAC of course. These headphones make music just sound cleaner, there is more detail and it sounds like the music has been deeply cleaned in a sense. Its like when you clean a dirty piece of glass that was kind of hard to see through and once you cleaned it you could see so clearly through it.

> 3 dayFor reference standard headsets, these are the best that Ive found in this price range.

> 3 dayOK, Ive had these for about a month. It took a year for me to finally decide to order them. I jumped on it when the price (which oscillated like a yo-yo!) hit a low point. These sound great. It has taken me some time to get used to the (relatively) forward upper mids. My go-to cans (which I still like) were the Beyer DT990s. They have accentuated upper highs and lows with a slightly recessed mid section. Thats why it has taken some time for me to become acclimated to the HD600s. When I first listened to them I wondered whether I should have ordered the 650s instead. I just possibly might have liked those even more. Occasionally the upper mid section of the sound signature on the 600s is a bit strident to me. A little EQ fixes it. Arguably, a set of cans with a flat response (like these) is ideal for equalization (youre not correcting; youre augmenting). For the most part, however, Ive found that I dont need to mess around too much with the adjustments. The Senns sound very clean and detailed with very nice bass. Also, the fit is fantastic. I have attached earlobes, as many people do. They taper into my jaw instead of hanging there. Most headphones squash my lobes (even the comfy Beyers). The oval shape of the Senns is perfect for me. I always obsessively read about new headphones but I feel that I can relax for awhile now. These are my new go-to cans! I run these through a Pioneer A/V receiver (via Apple TV and PS3) and cant imagine them sounding much better with a dedicated amp.

> 3 dayif you care about neutral/accurate sound, these headphones are literally perfect. the only issue is how tight the clamp force is on the headband. so if you have a big head like me, you will have to bend the metal on the headband until it fits on your head more comfortably. other than, Id recommend these to anyone who cares about good sound
