> 3 dayBeautifully detailed sound, tight but not overpowering bass and balanced highs and mids. As an audio engineer I practically live in these. Can you mix on them? Hell yes you can! But I also use them for casual listening, because there is simply nothing better that I have tried in nearly 50 years of headphone experience, for ANY use. They are comfortable to wear for long periods and have replaceable ear pads and cable. But you should use a dedicated headphone amp to get the best out of them, as the headphone circuits of most hi-fi amps are crap. There are a lot of phones in this price range that claim to be pro, but few of them are, in my opinion. There is a reason that the HD600 model has been around for nearly 20 years now. They are the standard by which all others should be measured. They are the best.

> 3 dayI can honestly say, after having purchased many audio / video products for media consumption, these are by far my favorite (that means you, HiFiMan HE-400). My Senns never fail to amaze.

> 3 dayThese are amazingly good headphones. If they hadnt gone on sale I almost certainly wouldnt have bought them as I already had a pair of 558s which are much cheaper but to me sounded great. I didnt really see how anything could sound much better, but sure enough, these sound much better. They have an extremely accurate frequency response; bass, mids and highs all stick out without any emphasis on one in particular. In fact, theyre weirdly detailed. I can pick out all sorts of things that I didnt notice before despite hearing a song several times, like a conductors baton quietly tapping, or a vocalist taking a breath that I just couldnt hear before. Im not really sure why this is, the musics obviously not changing. I can only assume some flaw in my previous headphones covered these details up without being noticeable. Maybe someone can explain the technical reason for this in the comments.

> 3 dayLa calidad de sonido y construcción son excelentes. Si tienes que trabajar con audio - editar, ecualizar, etc, son muy responsivo, con un amplio campo de estereo. Sirven para hacer mezclas de audio en casa si tienes un home studio y no puedes subir el volumen de las altavoces, o por lo menos te acercarán bastante, aunque siempre es recomendable comprobar lo que has hecho por altavoces más adelante.

> 3 dayThe sound and positionning on them is god like. Before them with my phone i used senhisers momentum tw for obvious reasons and some old 100£ beats with my pc. I desided to buy these headphones, I come home open the great box they come in, switch on youtube test them and keep staring and the screen so concentrated on the audio that it feels like there is nothing in the world appart from me and the music, if recorded on a good mic the audio feels like it is just in front of you and togeather with the level of comfort that these headphones have you go beyond being immersed in the game/music/podcast

Greater than one weekI have sort of an emotional attachment to these headphones. Ive had them since September 25th, 2011, and I love them/their sound more now than I did back when they were new. I just figured Id finally drop in and say some words about this product.

Greater than one weekI purchased Sennheiser headphones for $79 within the past year. Then I purchased the HD 600 from Amazon. I love the 600s. But they also made me appreciate the $79 phones more. Not knocking the 600s but the $79 version is a great sound for the money and a great value too. Of course, my hearing is not all that great and discerning.

> 3 dayMusic sounds amazing paired with the amplifier on my Soundblaster AE-5. Comfortable fit even for my enormous head. Nothing to hate about these at all.
