> 24 hourI like everything about these headphones. I cant believe I procrastinated so long before I got them. Im not going to get into the technical stuff, there enough of that on here. Just buy them before you cant. They sound better everytime I listen to them. Im still searching for the dac/amp that really knock it out of the park for me. I own a few different amplifiers, that they sound unbelievable with, but I know theres a better one or two.

> 24 hourSo, I got these with a sale so it was around $300, and Im sick of the gaming headphone (had Astro A50), the bugs, the disconnecting from Astro, I just had enough with it. Although that headset A50 is great sounding compared to its price, it still just good enough for the majority of people. So, to start my bar was low already lol. for some songs I listen to often I played it with both, the HD650 is like 20-15% better at its best for clarity idk how people giving it AWESOME hype. It hit me when I heard a new layers of sounds guitar background, treble and bass in background that I never heard quiet well with any gaming headset. So now Im just going back to all songs I listen before just to check what did I miss haha. its still early review to say anything definitive but Im happy with it. oh and Im using the K5 pro ess Amp/dac

> 24 hourAfter my Sennheiser HD598 died, I was careful about my next pick. Tried Shure 1440s but found them uncomfortable. I moved up to the HD650 and its proven to be a great choice. I play both the cello and acoustic guitar. Indeed, my very picky ears are happy once the HD650 were hanging on my PC. I have wide ranging- eclectic musical interests. Jazz-rock-pop-classical--even a litle rap top my long term set list. These fones are excellent for all circumstances. The key? Even balance that is true to the recording. Not too boomy when boom doesnt live nor are they too tweety either.

> 24 hourI enjoy classical pipe organ music with some deep (16Hz) bass notes from 32-foot stops. I did A/B/C testing with my Velodyne vTrue headphones, a friends Sennheiser HD-650s and some HiFiMan HE400s. Afterwards I returned the HE400s (came in third), sold the vTrues (came in second), and bought the 650s. The 650s are very good. Exceptionally good! The design may be from 2003 but the sound is timeless. They are open, so you need to listen in a quiet environment.

> 24 hourThe old adage goes; you get what you pay for. These headphones are by far the best audiophile headphones Ive ever had on my head. The comfort goes unmatched among other headphones Ive wore. It is important to note these headphones take a bit of wearing before they conform to ones head ( they come very tight and over time they will adjust to your head). Ive also owned the hd 580s they lasted about 4 years of daily use

> 24 hourIm an enthusiast when it comes to music. No, I dont make music, nor do I plan to. I just love music in general! Especially edm, but I love nearly every genre. It was a hobby of mine since early high school to buy every headphones I saw or somehow get my hands on them for a weekend to try them. Over years and years, by the time I got to my sophmore year in college, I had tried over 60 pairs of studio headphones, 130 pairs of DJ headphones, and little to no ear buds. So, needless to say, it was something I loved to do. (and no, I didnt end up buying 190 headphones. I got my hands on them in an assortment of ways)

> 24 hourI bought a Schiit Asgard AMP and Bifrost DAC at the same time and I am using Foobar2000 as my player. It took me one day to set up the Foobar tailored for my listening and this system with these headphones are just fantastic. And since they are new they will only get better after the break in period. Reminds me of my past 1974 Marantz System with my Infinity Speakers, only with headphones. For the best listening enjoyment I am using mostly .FLAC cut from Vinyl. Update: Between my many high end headphones, these are best by far, Beats any Japanese headphones and I will not even argue with you about American Headphones, these are awesome
