    These headphones are some next level stuff. If youre looking for some heavy bass ripping headphones this is not what you want to get. I paired these with my Schiit Modi and Vali 2 and I can now hear sounds Ive never heard before. Everything is so clear and crisp.

    Got it at a steal deal price of Rs. 24500/-. Lucky me. I was worried however whether it will be genuine or not. But I got it verified from the sennheiser product validation page. And as far as the product is concerned, I am pretty sure you have come here after reading all the reviews about it being one of the legendary headphones of all times. But buyers beware, this will require an AMP to power up. DAC is still optional. For the AMP, I suggest Schiit Magni 2, which will set you back for another 10k.

    Super sound , keep in mind these are diffuse field so it will create an extra wide field which might not translate to mixes. None the less pretty flat eq response, bass a bit pronounced, highs slightly cut, mids are very nice.

    Ich nutze seit vielen Jahren Sennheiser Kopfhörer und bin mit dem Sound immer sehr zufrieden gewesen. Aktuell habe ich einen HD 485 und wollte mir jetzt was richtig gutes gönnen.

    These are my favorite headphones that Ive owned so far. The make me very happy.. They do need power though. Come correct and these will handle whatever amount of power you throw at them. Theyre just great, not much else to say.. Sound is, I guess warm, but detailed, full bodied (Im not good at describing sound)? Theyre bassy when bass is called for. Treble is not bright. Its smooth, but the details are still there. Its a weird mix that just works, and well. I use these with the Jotunheim amp/dac and this has been a great pairing.
