> 3 dayThe sound quality is outstanding. The headphones reproduce the sound with incredible details. I rarely use my speakers when I dont have to move around the house and want to focus on the music.

Greater than one weekLOVE these headphones! Super comfortable. Easy to wear for hours on end. Sound quality is remarkable. Balanced sound curve, not too heavy likes Beats (yuck) but dont have noise cancelling like Bose. These are are for enjoying music of all types. These are wired - not wireless, which I prefer since there is no static or hiss. The cable is a good length and very robust. 1/4 phone plug. Worth every penny. They are wonderful. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayApenas llevo dos años con los auriculares y el cable se ha averiado. Por el precio que tiene el auricular el cable debería ser bastante mejor. En cuanto al sonido del auricular es fantástico.

> 3 dayAbsolutely love these headphones. Driving them with a Schiit Audio Valhalla 2 tube headphone amp with a Sony SCD-C222ES SACD as my main source. Amazing sound.

> 3 dayDont think about it. Just get these. I am still waiting for my tube amplifier to arrive and hopefully then i can pull out the max from these bad boys. Using them with Fiio E11k currently (i know its underpowered) as i have no other amp with me right now. Sound stage is very prominent and excellent. My ears dont hurt while listening to them as in sonically and physically

Greater than one weekTh clamping force of these headphones is tremendous. I bought them because Ive heard a lot about their sound stage and and sound quality. Ive not been able to focus on those qualities because the immediate soreness I experience after putting them on distracts me. I own a few headphones (akg k7xx, Fostex th-x00, MDR 1000x), and none of them can even compare the HD650 in terms of their clamping force. I think I may have to return them if Im not able to find a solution.

> 3 dayThe Sennheiser HD 650 Open Back Professional Headphones are decent, not a sonic revelation as I had hoped for.

> 3 dayI owned a pair of Sennheiser 580 HD for over 10 years with nearly daily use. So when it came time to replace them, I had no concerns that Sennheiser would still provide an outstanding product.

> 3 dayWhen I ended up on business trips a lot, I upgraded to noise cancelling headphones and picked Sennheiser PXC 350s a while back. In my home, I only use headphones for critical reviews of CDs or DVDs and prefer regular or Bluetooth speakers for everyday listening. Then a friend suggested I upgrade to open back headphones and recommended Sennheiser HD 650 Open Back Professional Headphones. While my listening pattern has not changed, I spent the $320 and am happy I did. They are of Sennheiser high quality AND extremely comfortable to wear (at my home). Surprisingly to me, they are a bit bulkier than the PXC 350s. Emphasizing: I acted on a recommendation by a top professional Emmy- and Grammy-winning audio expert who is familiar with my less-than-professional needs, and did not compare to other products, nor did I study specs. I did not check noise cancelling quality because of a lack of data; my home is very quiet.
