    If youre here, youve crossed the line... old songs sound new as I can now hear all the stuff I didnt hear even on songs that Ive listened to for many years.

    I like everything about these headphones, Since they are open back the only noise cancelation you have available is the volume of what you are listening to. So i felt it would be unfair to dock stars for noise cancelation when thats not what the intended use of this style of headphones is. Its an open soundstage

    Love them! I had Audio Technica earphones and they broke only a month in. They were cheaply made (but NOT cheap)! I was pissed. Determined to get a different make, I did some research. I found these on a list and went for it. I am so glad I did. They are comfortable, durable, and sound great. Theres no colorization and I used to have to take one phone of the ear to record vocals to stay on pitch. But I dont have to do that with these. They are really great.

    I never tried open headphones before, this fact make them very comfortable as the ears doesnt heat after long use.

    Im not a super experienced audiophile; first of all. Only headphones worth mentioning that Ive owned previously are the koss porta pros, the sennheiser 558 and mr. speakers mad dog with alpha pads. I run a 5+ year old amp/dac combo: the schiit magni and odac. The magni has been my only desktop amp (just recently finally upgraded to an Asgard 2) and the Odac is perfect, I hope it lasts forever. Ive been using the HE-400 as my main headphone for the past 4-something years. I adore them.

    They sound great, but compared to the hd700s I was trying to replace the hd650s feel like they came out of a burger king kids meal and have a headband so tight I was getting a headache wearing them for more than 15 minutes. Even the hd598s are more comfortable and feel higher quality, which is pretty sad. I almost feel like I received a fake pair of headphones after reading all the reviews here and seeing no mention of how poorly made and uncomfortable they are.
