    For those looking for value in order to spend more on their amp, these are perfect. I own several other headphones that carry much higher prices and these hold up fairly well against all of them in comparisons. The sound is very warm, focused and clean. Best value headphones PERIOD.

    My son picked these up when he was staying, he has a pair of AKGs to use with his laptop. Unfortunately I could not get them off him the whole time he was with us, staying, I was however free to use his AKGs which were languishing unused.

    Not great if you listen to electronic EDM music or modern Jazz, superlative in the upper and midrange, but totally lacking in low bass response. Better than the HD600 in my opinion, but still cant rival the bass extension of the old HD250 Linear II, which is no longer produced. Cant see why they roll off at 10Hz, the HD250s go as low as 5Hz!! Sennheiser please start producing the HD250 again.

    Did not come with display box, the plastic feels cheap, there is no Left Right indication on the headphones. This product is a joke compared to the old version.. very sad.

    Great cans! Not the most comfortable, but still high up there. Not great while wearing glasses, but without them I forget they are on. SQ is superb, just the right amount of emphasis on the low end.

Make sure you have them the right way round by observing the “R” (right) and “L” (left) markings on the ear cups. For optimum sound quality, ensure that the ear cups are not covered.
