Sennheiser HD 650 - Audiophile Hi-Res Open Back Dynamic Headphone

These are very good headphone that delivers good sound qualities. You do need a headphone amp though to power these effectively. I use the FiiO E17 Portable Headphone Amplifier and USB DAC together gives me great sounds. The only think is, I have had these headphones for some 6 months now and they are still quite tight around my ears.

Ridiculous, one of a kind sound. The only qualm I have with them is how tightly they grasp your head. Overall phenomenal headphones.

Je possède le HD 600 depuis plusieurs années déjà et les commentaires élogieux sur le HD 650 le décrivant comme le digne successeur en qualité supérieure mont fait franchir le pas.

I cant describe what it was like listening to these other than absolutely sublime. I can honestly say the bass was nice and full but not over bearing the hies were as crisp ans winters breeze and the singers was vertically spiting in my face full and vibrant. They were Warm, Crisp, Flat and Sharp all at the same time. there is no other way to describe it. These are Audiophile Headphones!

Nunca podría imaginar que unos auriculares Sennheisser de tal categoría tuvieran un sonido con tanta falta de brillantez. Todo suena excesivamente mate, como si una capa de cartón no dejara pasar los agudos. En los dispositivos que usó en la calle (IPod, Astell & Kern), pecan de poco volumen y de paupérrimo brillo. En los dispositivos fijos que suelo usar (Yamaha, Denon y Bang Olufsen), tengo que acentuar mucho los agudos para sacarles un sonido brillante. Se los he hecho probar a personas relacionadas con la música (técnicos de sonido, críticos de música, melómanos) y coinciden con mis apreciaciones. Los he usado en periodos largos de duración por si necesitaran un rodaje pero no he visto cambios. Y solo oigo con ellos música clásica. Tremendamente defraudado con la compra

Good but not great. Replaced B-D 880s which gave up the ghost. Not very good for audio work, pretty limited to stereo listening.

No, I dont have gifted golden ears, but am young enough (19 as Im writing this) to have a proper hearing ability.
