> 3 dayAs others have stated, I have a German shepherd and have a shark vac for pets but this is daily chore. Since my 2 uprights are bagless and no-tangle Brushroll I thought Id try this av2501ae after a LOT of research. I had a blind eufy that when it didnt get stuck really helped with pet hair but required daily cleaning and Brushroll detangling. I have used this for several cleans and no hair tangles and it says 60 days but at first it filled 1/4 on one clean. Using daily has brought it to 7 days to fill. Pros- gets up all the hair/dirt and I have not had to vacuum since, 10 days so far. Covers everything after it mapped the house. Ignored the 3 ft on either side and 5 ft in front and placed the unit under an end table next to the couch out of sight, mainly since my dog kept stepping on the old eufy. Has worked fine there and always finds it way home. It is doing its job as expected. Rarely bumps into anything but sometimes seems like its a little lost but always does what advertised. May be my crappy internet..App has been no problem. I like that I can send it to any room/rooms, or whole house. It has a little trouble getting over wood strip between hard wood and tile but keeps trying and gets over it and keeps going where it was supposed to go. Has not gotten stuck since no -go set properly. Cons- took 2 times to map correctly and took some trial and error to set no-go zones, but once I got it, it works perfectly. Should probably remap one more time. The roller seemed to get a little louder BUT ordered non-oem replacement filters and brush roll on amazon and that roller is cleaning as good as factory and much more quiet. Cant verify its durabilty but for the price, who cares. Its taller than my eufy so it will not go under my couch but as great as it cleans, Ill move the couch. Besides, running this daily, pet hair and dust under controll, have only moved the couch once in 10 days with a 10th of the usual dust and hair. Glad I upgraded to a lidar vacuum and I dont care that I cant watch it progress real-time as others have knocked it for. I can hear where it is and takes 20 min per room and does 1000sq ft in 45 min of hardwood and tile. Unless you are anal retentive it works advertised and CLEANS..

> 3 dayI was so excited to finally have a self vacuum. I have two dogs. We ordered our first one. My husband programmed it and off it went. It would sit in one place and just spin. I know it has to map out your house, but I didnt think it had to do this every time we used it. It is also quite loud. After using it 4 or 5 times, we decided it was probably a defective product. We sent it back for an exchange. Went through the same process when we received the new one. It still seems to be confused. We have tile and wood flooring. I pick up anything on the floor, other than furniture. Surprisingly, the dogs could not care less. They just lay in their bed and watch. It will still spin in one place 4-5 times, on multiple occasions of cleaning. I dont know if this is normal. I do know it uses up a lot of battery time by doing this. Im still doing research. We may send it back and try a different brand. I hate having to do this because it does pick up fairly well. It just takes so long to clean a one story, tile and wood, (no rugs, carpet, or other objects in the way). With that being said, I wonder how long its life expectancy will be. We paid a lot for it. I would be pretty upset if it died in a year. I own a Shark Cordless, Bagless hand held. It came with two rechargeable batteries. I can vacuum the entire house without using all of one battery. Ive had that vacuum for 3 years. It has been used almost daily. I believe the motor may be getting ready to die. But, it has been a fabulous vacuum. Ill be looking for another one of those. If anyone has any input on the Shark Robot or another brand, please share. I really do want to love her, but I need to know she wont die in a year!

> 3 dayHaving a boxer puppy this vacuum changed the game forever. This thing gets under most of the furniture and beds. It’s a refreshing feeling to walk around your apt with the floors being crispy clean.

> 3 dayWe have messy kids and a sweet dog that sheds constantly. This robot vacuum keeps our floors virtually fur and debris free. It does a great job navigating obstacles and even cleans well around our kitchen table and chairs. It does take several hours to complete its cleaning of about 1200 square feet and needs a ~2 hour recharging break in the middle. It works well on rugs, carpets and bare floors. The AI and obstacle learning is surprisingly sophisticated. One of our kids feeds it scraps of paper occasionally and tells the vacuum that it is doing a great job so you can thank her for staving off the coming AI takeover (just kidding). This vacuum is amazing.

Greater than one weekI chose this to replace my less smart random motion robot. I wanted something a little more organized and with good suction for my carpet. This guy (“Wall-E”) made a pretty great map his first run. I was worried because a lot of reviews said he never does a good job on their map. I followed the setup instructions and he made a full “checking the scene out” run without having to be recharged and the map is accurate. Wall-e does tend to get stuck on things and shut down which is annoying when I’m at work and can’t do anything about it until he’s fully dead. At least he shuts himself down and doesn’t hurt himself trying to get free. But it’s my fault for not picking little things up. keep his path clear and he will do a great job for you. He does a great job on my carpet and wood floors. No problems with rugs. He doesn’t like my sliding glass door trays but he can navigate them ok just gets a little hung up. The emptying mechanism is great. Loud for any night-time use but I don’t use it at night anyway. I’ve done specific rooms once and it worked for me (other reviews were negative on this feature) but I think that has to do with the map. If the map isn’t right then it won’t work. No complaints with the battery life I haven’t really timed it out but my 2800 sq ft house can be done with maybe 1-2 battery charges and it takes a few hours. I would buy this again and recommend it to my family looking for one.

> 3 dayIt’s not perfect but it’s convenient and effective. We’ve used it 5 days a week for the past few months. It does a good job of keeping the floor vacuumed and mopped. Still leaves behind some clumps of hair and the floors aren’t that clean after mopping but they are shinier. It doesn’t have an indicator/sensor for the dust bin which can be clogged with the hair from our two cats. The dust bin and associated filter attached to the robot needs cleaned out at least weekly and it’s the same for the dock’s bin. I can’t imagine leaving this unattended for 30-60 days as advertised. Cleaning out the robot’s dust bin is annoying because I always feel like I’m going to break the small plastic clamps. The app is functional and has gotten better in the time I’ve had it. It’s easy to schedule the robot for cleaning and to access the history. I was happy to see they added a map of the cleaning history. It doesn’t allow me to invite others to “household” in the app so we have to share a login. The app also restricts you to one map meaning some setting are restricted if you want to use it on another floor. When I want to use it on another floor I place the robot on the dock, turn it off, take it to an open corner in the area I want cleaned, turn it on, then press clean. Despite the shortcomings I would but it again.

> 3 dayI Owned a Roomba Robot before which I wasnt very happy with so I bought this unit to replace it with. After owning this Shark for a couple months Ill give it a review. First the Good things....... 1. Very quiet,I hardly hear it from other rooms while its running. It makes some noise while its emptying the dirt to the base but thats only for about 10 seconds or so. 2.Doesnt crash into walls and furniture like the Roomba did, however small things like dog or cat food bowls it will push around. 3.Doesnt have a problem going from carpet to tile or hardwood floors. Will go up on bathroom floor mats without shoving them around. 4.Finds its way back to the charging base base 95% of the time,if it doesnt its usually because it found a problem it couldnt solve. 5. Requires very little maintenance, but will need some on a weekly basis.More on that below. Now for things I wouldnt call negative but you should know. 1.Says the base holds 60 days of dirt before it needs to be emptied, maybe if you live in a house with no pets or children. We have 2 cats a dog and 2 adolescent kids.I need to empty the bin at least once a week or more or it will fill up and cause a error. If the bin fills up you will clog up the passage from the bottom of the base unit to the upper bin and then it will need to be cleaned out manually before the error is cleared and it will work correctly again. Not a big deal really but you should be aware. 2.Hair for the most part does not wrap around the roller brush but will to some point, mostly on the sides and middle of the brush, however Its easy to pop off and clean ,I do it once a week, you can then clean any debris behind the brush that might build up. 3.The cliff sensors on the bottom of the unit, the four clear plastic lenses in the front and two on the sides should also be wiped off weekly,if they get dusty or blocked with dirt that will cause an error too. 4.Keep things like dryer sheets ,loose electrical or USB cords, socks ,small toys, etc off the floor so it wont jam up and cause an error. So all in all I am quite happy with this Shark unit 60 days in,it runs 6 days a week with hardly any problems.

> 3 dayWe have a cat and two German shepherds. This thing is a must have unless you enjoy vacuuming on a daily basis. I chose this over doing lots of research with just about every brand due to the fact that this has a bag less design. The description says 60 days without emptying the bin. That may be true for other people, but for me with our pets. I need to empty this thing between 1-2 weeks just with pet hair. If I had a model that required bags, I’d be paying the cost of this unit just in bags every year. This thing has already run through dog poop and urine. Which obviously should be avoided, but after some quick disassembly and cleaning it was back up in a few days going strong. Navigation is great and it cleans my whole first floor in about an hour. The only con for me is the app but there’s really nothing bad about it, it just could stand to have some more features. All in all this thing is great.

> 3 dayI am shocked at how well this Shark robot works! It is better than my swiffer and vacuum. I have 2 yellow Labradors and this is great to keep the floors looking good! I wish I bought this sooner!

> 3 dayThis robot vac is amazing! I have tried other brands and this has surpassed them all for me. I read some of the other reviews and honestly they sound more like user error than product error. I‘be had mine for almost 2 years and have had zero glitching with the app unless it was because my WiFi went out so it logged me out of the app. But, it never deleted my map or anything like that. Also, one review said they couldn’t get parts; well you absolutely can. Maybe not direct from the manufacturer but there’s a multitude of different companies selling replacement parts on Amazon. I say get it! It makes cleaning so much easier, especially if you have kids or fur babies! I couldn’t use mine for a week while I waited for my replacement parts to get delivered and it really made me appreciate how much work it takes off my hands m, because I was seriously struggling to keep my 5000 square feet of living space feeling and looking clean.
