21-11-2024The picture posted is the one and only time this unit has been stuck and it has never gotten stuck there again. This cleans 200x better than my Eufy 30c. The self emptying feature is wonderful, I don’t know how I lived without it. With two dogs in the house, this unit is a must! I was really surprised with how clean the floors looked after the mopping feature as well. I am so glad I got this unit on sale because it is a life saver! Better than any Rumba or Eufy I have owned.

> 3 dayThe robot vacuum works well enough however I am underwhelmed with its ability to maneuver obstacles and it sees intake vents on the floor as cliffs and gets stuck (I had to make no-go zone around the vent). It also gets stuck on the objects on the floor that it should maneuver around. We like to schedule it to run at night but most nights it cant complete its run and we have a very obstacle free house. But the app is beyond bad. The history randomly wont show the map so I dont know where it has cleaned, you can only schedule once a day, and the notifications really dont tell me much (they seriously say the word cliff). This is my first experience with robot cleaners so maybe my expectation is too high but I am underwhelmed at best! But I am tempted to return it and see if the iRobot is just a better product.

> 3 dayNot easy to use, doesn’t pick up cat litter and hair, won’t connect to Wi-Fi, and dreadful customer service will sum up this review. I loved this vacuum the 1st week I owned it. We share our home with 4 cats so there’s some hair to be dealt with. I was excited about something to keep up with the fur in between my being able to run the “real” vacuum. Week 1 it appeared to do a good job. After that is when the major issue started. The fatal flaw is that hair not only get caught in the brush roller but it also gets caught up in the side of the roller where it attaches. This causes the vacuum to become inoperable until you do something about it. You end up spending a good 10-15 minutes with tweezers and scissors trying to perform minor surgery and remove the wad of hair to free up the roller. (In this amount of time I could have already done 1 room of my house). That’s problem #1. The other major problem is the absolutely horrible customer service they provide. The manual that comes with this is a joke. It basically tells you how to set it on the floor and turn it on which is self explanatory and could be done by my dumbest cat. There is zero information about connecting to Wi-Fi or this type of troubleshooting. When trying to use the app to pair nothing happens. I have tried 8 times. I have used the recommended 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and even tried 5GHz. NOTHING!!! My phone is updated to the latest software version so there should be no reason for this malfunction. I called customer service and read every number off the bottom of the vacuum plus gave a ton more info to a man who said he was transferring me to a service agent who could fix the problem and I would not have to repeat the info I had just provided. I waited on hold for 15 min, (after 3 minutes the “hold music” went dead) and no one picked up. I was concerned my call was sent to someone in a black hole so I hung up and called back. I then had the displeasure of speaking to a lady who had the I.Q. of a carrot and the customer service skills of a honey badger!! She started asking for all of the numbers for the vacuum and I explained to her I’ve already provided this and was just trying to be transferred. She continued to tell me there was no one to transfer me to. She then tried to help and her advice was to do everything that I’ve already done 8 times all over again. (Because the 9th time is the charm???) When I explained to her again that I have already done this 8 times and I’m calling for a different suggestion and some troubleshooting she then told me to turn everything off and back on again. I was aggravated and told her this has to be done to restart the process and again I’ve done this 8 times. She then told me to restart the Wi-Fi. I explained to her everything else was working fine with the Wi-Fi and since I tried to pair it right after it was installed this week and it continued to do the same thing I know that’s not it. She then told me if I wasn’t willing to do what she was telling me she would have to escalate my case and someone would call me back in 24-48 hours. I asked to be transferred to someone else and she said “there is no one else, you have me now”. The app also has conflicting information about how to use the Wi-Fi feature. I have waisted hours trying to make this thing work. The time you put into trying to fix/figure out software issues and picking hair out you could have vacuumed your house. DONT BUY!!!

> 3 dayLets do this Pros: Coverage, so far its gotten every corner. Plus it does vacuum in rows so you can see what it misses. Self emptying, its good with a couple flaws on this point. More on this later. Noise level, depends on the setting, in the app it has 3 settings and buried deeper it has one additional setting. Eco, normal, and max. The more buried one is simply Ultra clean which only works when set to clean a zone or room. Durability: cant say since its its only been working for about 10 days at this point. Ill update the review depending on results in a few months. Cleaning power: So far so good its working well, even though we have a medium dog with semi long hair. Its been consistently able to clean up after her shedding. Cons: the bottom of the catcher does need to be cleaned about 1 time per week. Simply flip it over, unlatch the spinning brush, then reach in and clean out the comb that catches the hair and debris. Also empty the bin, it says 60 says or so. However, were just doing it weekly to prevent it getting full. Also, the app could use some work, it tends to freeze up occasionally while its running. Conclusion: we have a Roomba from about 2-3 years ago. Its done well by us but its been dying from all the dog hair. This shark doesnt have a problem with the hair at all. Weve decided to use the Roomba upstairs where dog is not allowed and doesnt go, while the shark handles downstairs. So far, its been rock solid.

Greater than one weekOkay a little context I have a 1400 single level house with laminate flooring throughout. I have 3 area rugs as well. The one in the living room is a short pile rug. My house is a new construction and my backyard is 3/4 dirt. I also have 3 young dogs that go in and out all day long. So, as you can imagine keeping up with the dirt and mess has been a royal challenge. I work full time with a lot of overtime and also go to college at an accelerated pace (2 classes every 5 weeks year round). This is my first robot vacuum, but I do use Shark brand vacuums. Vacuuming: As far as the linoleum flooring goes, it does an incredible job and I am very pleased. With the short pile rug in the living room, I do notice some dirt being left behind. Overall, it definitely helps, but the suction on the rugs is not quite as I imagined it would be. A deep cleaning will still be necessary and thats okay. Mopping: So, were talking about muddy/ dirt mess tracked in by my dogs. It gets bad fast. The mopping function does okay. It definitely doesnt remove all of the dirt in the problem areas unless you use the ultramop setting. Maybe theres a way to do this that I havent figured out yet, but what I have seen so far is you can only use the ultra clean and ultra mop settings on a 5x5 area at a time. If you consider the time it would take to have it clean an area of that size, redock, and then set another area, youd really be better off doing the deeper cleaning with a mop or steamer. On the areas that do not get as muddy and awful though it does do very well. So, if your house doesnt have caked on dirt in several areas, it should work fantastic just using the mop setting. Battery life is good. Charging time you can expect 10% battery in roughly 30 minutes. It will not run below 15% battery. The app is user-friendly and I definitely like it. Same with set up. In the app, you can label rooms, high traffic zones and carpet zones once it has mapped your house. Once you label the carpet zones, which has to be done for the mopping, the robot will go trace the outside of where you said it was for you to confirm it is correct. This is maybe my BIGGEST complaint. I wish they could put a sensor on this thing to determine/ verify given the approximate location of said rug or carpet. This took me forever to get relatively close as I have 3 rugs. It will go out and you have to follow it to ensure is traces the rug area but if its not right you have to wait for it to redock, redraw your rectangles and test over and over again. This can get quite frustrating. The self empty base is awesome and works great. The base is easy to empty and clean the filter. I thought the way the mopping pad attaches was rather cool. I thought it would be similar to a steam mop or maybe how a Swifer pad attaches being maybe a couple clips or velcro. It actually attached by similar to a zipper format. You slide a piece on the back through another opening and across. Then it stretches down, attached by velcro on the bottom, and then up and attached by a piece of velcro on the front. This may be a bit obsolete to some, but you definitely do not have to worry about your mop pad falling off mid clean (assuming its not on carpet.)

> 3 dayAfter a couple months with the Shark, I can safely say this: its great for daily carpet maintenance. Its quiet, thorough, and at max power the vacuum gets...about 90% of whats in its path. Is that disappointing? Not really. This is my first robot vacuum, and running this guy 5 mornings a week has my carpets looking cleaner than ever. It rarely gets stuck, has never gotten lost, and the base really does hold weeks of debris without needing emptied. Overall definitely worth the purchase. Some other quick takeaways: - If you have multiple levels (stairs) in your home your options are to either get multiple Sharks, carry it down to the level away from its base and manually start it (itll do the room, and return to where I started), or install a Roomba ramp. We went with the latter (pictured), and the little guy finds his way down to the living room each morning. - Itll get hung up around any obstructions lower than 4 inches or so. It eventually finds its way, but watching it bump around can be frustrating - The mop. Utterly useless. It basically vacuums while shimmying a wet microfiber cloth behind it. When the mop is installed, any carpet will get it stuck, so youve got the designate no-go areas. Filling and cleaning the reservoir is as much if not more hassle than filling a mop bucket. Its a Shark 1-in-1 for me. - Deep clean is cool. Drop it where you need extra cleaning, and itll work a 5x5 grid front and back, side to side. - The app is pretty cool, letting you visualize what the Shark sees and where it goes. You cant see where it is in real time, and can only schedule one cleaning per day, but otherwise it does everything I need. Overall, if you want a decent robot vacuum and love those fresh carpet lines daily, Id say go for it.

> 3 dayLove the way this unit operates and it does a great job, even into the corners. It runs smoothly and has great features to set cleaning schedules, map the home, and direct clean certain trouble areas. It picks up pet hair and random pieces of kitty litter (tossed out by the cat) with ease.

> 3 dayI’ve only had it for a few hours so I’ll only put 4 stars until I’ve had it longer and can better vouch for it but… I love it!! It’s amazing. As a working mom with a toddler, dog and spouse gone, it’s amazing to have this one thing off my plate and it makes me feel better about the condition the house is in every day. It’s gone over one small toy (a wooden shape) and made sound and just left it behind but I’m sure I’ll run into more issues in the future but I only expect so much out of it. It’s fairly quiet and I went over the area I did a test spot cleaning on with my dyson and didn’t really pick anything up. For something with this much function and so small I’m impressed.

> 3 dayThis little guy is so great. It was easy to set up, and made a map of our main floor that was surprisingly good after just one run. The battery life is pretty decent and the suction level must be good cause he hasnt missed anything yet! He looks like a lil trilobite swimming about your home. He makes a soft whirring sound as he goes about, but I find it a pleasant sound, and its nice to know if hes coming up behind you. Hes a bit loud when empties, but it only lasts for 4 seconds so whatever. Hes only gotten stuck once in the last 6 weeks of daily use, and that was on me for leaving out small Halloween decorations on the floor. I agonized over which brand to buy, but I have loved my upright Shark vacuums in the past, and for half the price of some other brands I figured it was worth a shot. No regrets! Minor issues: For the first week, he ran himself at 3 am instead of his scheduled 9 am. That was a bit of a shock when he emptied in the dead of the night. But after resetting him to factory settings, hes agreed to clean on schedule. He did get disconnected from the internet once, but I was able to just re add him again to the app and delete the old one and everything is fine again! Lastly, it doesnt really work great with Google home, as far as voice control goes. This seems to be a Google issue rather than the robot, so maybe theyll fix that in the future. Maybe. If you went Google home instead of Alexa like your friends, you probably know exactly what Im talking about. Overall, its absolutely worth the price and Ill never go without again!

> 3 dayI love this Shark robot sweeper! It has room mapping , keeps 60 days worth of dirt, if there’s a problem it notifies you via your phone and tells you exactly what the issue is and how to fix it. It’s smart, if it sees an object in its way it goes around it. Has no trouble docking itself, and unloading the debris it’s collected. I haven’t used my upright sweeper since I bought this Shark Robot sweeper. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a derp clean of their carpets and other flooring!
