> 24 hourLooks great, works great. Blue light is way too bright in an otherwise dark room. (I use this for a ceiling fan) This wouldnt bother me if there was a software way to disable it, but they didnt think of that I guess. Light switch that downloads its own software to run from the internet not capable of controlling its own internal light. Ironic.

> 24 hourOkay... first I ordered the 2-gang version of this item in order to control both the bedroom light as well as the ceiling fan. The item arrived quicker than expected (about 16 hours from the time of the order... BRAVO Amazon!). That said, I am taking away one star simply because the instructions for installation and then for syncing the item to my network werent exactly easy to follow. Now, having said that, Ill be the first to admit that when it comes to installing an electrical device of any kind (where I am the one having to play with wiring) I am not the brightest bulb in the box (pun intended). However, because I know that I dont know diddly about wiring, I must have very precise step-by-step (with pictures) instructions or I tend to be VERY overly cautious and thus end up reviewing multiple YouTube instructional videos to make sure that I have it down pat before I even pick up the screwdriver. Anyway... the installation itself took me approx. an hour. Then the registration, account setup and syncing took me another hour due to the fact that I was having trouble getting the switch to find and sync with my network. Well... eventually I won and the switch admitted defeat and now everything works as expected. I had no problems whatsoever linking my Alexa App to the products app and then being able to use Alexa to turn on and off both the light and the ceiling fan. Ill be adding a routine via Alexa, which will now turn off the light, turn on the ceiling fan, adjust the volume to 4 and start my sleeping music after I give the command, Alexa, Good night. Ive included two photos (one with the lights on and the other with them off) so that you might see the difference and the brightness of the switch. Yes, there is always light coming from the switch and as far as I can tell, there is no way to turn this off. I would and will recommend this switch to family and friends who are looking to trade in their standard 2-gang switch for a Smart version. UPDATE (09/16/2021): Since the initial review, I have purchased a total of 5 more of these switches. All are installed and working well. One of the switches was a little more difficult to setup, but when I used the ap mode to setup the switch with the network, everything worked flawlessly. I cant recommend these enough. Great product!

> 24 hourIt just stopped connecting to wifi. I cant access the switch to schedule when to turn on/off. This is the main purpose why I purchased this item. Stopped working after just a lik bit over a year. No tech support available to contact. Now Im back to manually turning our porch lights on/off again.

> 24 hourMain issue is the instructions are outdated, if you install small life app while linking to Alexa an error will pop up stating app is old and needs to be renewed. The correct app needed is called TuyaSmart, once installed, logged into you will be able to easily link the app to Alexa. Had the instructions been correct from the beginning the product would be a 5 across the board. Very poor effort on this vendors part.

> 24 hourLike most others for some reason the switches won’t connect after a year of ownership. At some point we lost power and literally every other smart device in my home reconnected except the switches. Smart life nor Alexa can detect the devices anymore. The switch is basically useless as a smart device. Update fixed issue: if you have a 5g router you need to switch it to 2.4 in order to reconfigure the setup again. Figure it out with my new xfinity router.

> 24 hourNow that we have these switches installed, I love them. They were easy to set up on the Smart Life App and work flawlessly with Alexa. That said, they were NOT easy to install. The switches are deep and barely fit in the electric box with the wires, wire nuts, etc. Also, the wiring that came with them was not the right type, so we had to use our own. What should have been a quick job took at least an hour. I bought two sets, but Im unable to use the second one, because it wont work with three way or four way. That mistake is on me (should have researched better), but if you have anything more than two-way, this is not the switch for you.

> 24 hourThis was easy to install. App is ok, but i use google home to voice control the switches. Integration between apps was easy. I now have every switch in my home replaced with these smart switches. Great value for your money and works perfectly! I will offer a bit of tech advise. These switches run off of 2.4ghz wifi, now why is this important to note? Some of the newer routers even those stock from internet provider, come with automatic switching betwee 2.4ghz and 5ghz. This is usually achieved by using the same ssid. Well, most smart phones connect to 5ghz automatically when possible. So when you are initially setting up this product i recommend you either manually switch to 2.4ghz on your phone or temporarily disable the 5ghz on your router. If your switch is on 2.4ghz and your phone is on 5ghz the app will not find the device.

> 24 hourSwitch’s were nice in the beginning…. And then the problems started. They are constantly going offline… requiring me to flip breakers to get them to reset. On 4 of them the glass has come off and are falling down. Save your money get something else.

> 24 hourI installed these switches in the master bedroom to control the ceiling fan and its light. The directions were easy to understand, and the installation is fairly simple. The switches paired with my home network without any problem, and worked well with my system. I have to give these switches only four stars though because the indicating lights built into them are too bright. They have both a blue light that lets you know your switch is paired with your system, and a blue light to indicate when the switch is on. These switches would be great to use anywhere but a bedroom. The indicating lights are so bright, they will actually disturb your sleep. I actually wound up replacing these switches with another brand whos indicating lights werent so bright.

> 24 hourThis is my favorite Touch Smart Switch. The Blue Led Lighting with Glass faceplate look great, and the Switch works very well with the Smart Life App. Unfortunately this is only available as a Single Pole Switch. I hope the manufacturer considers making this design available in a 3 way configuration.
