> 3 dayWe feel so much safer being able to control our lighting with Alexa no matter where we are. The face itself is a touchplate you can turn on and off with a light tap. However, this was incredibly difficult to install. Im sure its because we we were switching out standard plates/wiring in an older home. If you will be doing the same, you will need a larger electric box to hold this. Otherwise great upgrade for any home.

> 3 dayThe product is well made and works great, but the jumper wires that come with the product is the wrong kind of jumper wires. The wires should be a solid wire not a shredded wire. The reason: when the jumper wire is placed into wifi plug, the set screws will not tighten down on the shredded wires enough to hold it securely. In the photo, the jumper wire is the shredded wire the other wire is a solid wire.

> 3 dayI use these for the outside lights for my Airbnb. I have them on a timer, and I can turn them on/off remotely with the app. The app allowed me to setup timers, scenes, and widgets for my Android phone. Installation in box Not knowing much of anything about electrical wiring, it took me a while to figure out how load/line/neutral all worked together. Once I figured that out, it was fairly straight forward connecting the wires to the wifi switch that is well marked. If you have all the wiring plugged in, and it still doesnt give you a blue light....switch the Load and Line wires in the wifi switch. That should power it. Wiring my second device took a lot less time. I would recommend getting someone who knows how home wiring works. Pairing with Wireless Network Here is the tricky part - The wifi switch does NOT automatically start up in pairing mode. Once you see you have a steady blue wifi logo light on the switch, you will need to press and hold the center power icon on the switch face until the blue wifi logo starts to flash. That is your cue to begin the pairing process with your wireless network through the app you downloaded from the app store. The instruction booklet tells you which app to install. You will need to be on the same 2G wireless network that you want your switch to be on. What happens if the power goes out? Will I lose all of my settings? Your switch should automatically reconnect to the wifi with no issues once power is restored. If it does not, just re-pair it to your network. Your settings will still be there. I have the wifi switch in a double-gang box with a normal switch. I was going to purchase the face plate that was designed for such an application from Amazon, but discovered that the twelve dollar price was way too steep. I opted for the Home Depot one for ninety-eight cents.

Greater than one weekAmazon Devices said its a third-party app so they cant help me. Finally after reaching somebody at normal customer support, I was given a contact support email for the manufacturer, wish I was told has an 80% success rating which is pretty good. I emailed but before I get a response, I called my internet service and he created a split so that I could connect the app to 2.4 GHz which is what it requires. Works now

> 3 dayVery good switch for the price. I had to get an electrician to run a neutral wire but that wasn’t the fault of the switch since they warn you that it has to have one. Once I had the correct wiring for it everything went very smoothly.

Greater than one weekAfter wiring these switches up, I tried to put the first one in to wifi setup mode. At first, it looked like a fast blink, but it just never got picked up by the Smart Life app. I also could not see a new MAC/IP address on my router (it does 2.4 and 5.0Ghz and has different names for each SSID). Also, the light it was controlling would just turn off after 3-4 seconds. Thats when I noticed it was flashing a blink code. Im not positive, but I think it was 7-6-4-3. I reached out to the email address mentioned in many of the other reviews, and while they did respond, they just kept telling me to read all of the instructions. This went back and forth a few times, and finally I just ordered two of the Martin Jerry smart switches. I have 5 of their wall plugs, and they all work great. After connecting the Martin Jerry switches, they just worked and setup was as easy as these should have been since they both use the Smart Life app. There was nothing wrong with my wiring or my network. These switches are KS-602. There is zero info on google about any blink codes, but there does seem to be a website that has people discussing flashing them with their custom firmware. Interesting hobby idea, but thats not for me. Also, I was only finding one other switch that came in a 2 gang kit (it is a KS-602s - I didnt want to risk it), so all I had to do was go buy a new face plate for the Martin Jerry switches. Other people on here are giving these switches 4 and 5 stars, so they must work, but somehow I got two duds. Its not the end of the world, but the amount of time I had to spend assuring Lulu with their support was excessive and a bit aggravating due to what I assume is a language difference. If you work with them, be patient. I did feel like they were genuinely trying to help.

> 3 dayI installed these switches in the master bedroom to control the ceiling fan and its light. The directions were easy to understand, and the installation is fairly simple. The switches paired with my home network without any problem, and worked well with my system. I have to give these switches only four stars though because the indicating lights built into them are too bright. They have both a blue light that lets you know your switch is paired with your system, and a blue light to indicate when the switch is on. These switches would be great to use anywhere but a bedroom. The indicating lights are so bright, they will actually disturb your sleep. I actually wound up replacing these switches with another brand whos indicating lights werent so bright.

> 3 dayIn the process of changing out my traditional light switches with smart switches i have purchased some other brands but this switch seemed of higher quality. instructions were clear and the installation was easy. Connects quickly to my network (I use the smart life app and google home) and looks great I would highly recommend, and will look purchase additional switches from this company

> 3 dayMain issue is the instructions are outdated, if you install small life app while linking to Alexa an error will pop up stating app is old and needs to be renewed. The correct app needed is called TuyaSmart, once installed, logged into you will be able to easily link the app to Alexa. Had the instructions been correct from the beginning the product would be a 5 across the board. Very poor effort on this vendors part.

> 3 dayI purchased these light switches as an affordable alternative to other name brands on the market that were 3 times the price! After receiving them, I called an electrician and had them installed by a reputable professional in my local area. I proceeded to navigate the the instructions to pair them with my wifi and after a couple of times, I had all the light switches paired and working great. Hopefully time will tell if they will last - I would say the only con of these lights is the housing itself is a little bigger than standard lights which is completely understandable, So if you will be installing multiple switches in a 2, 3, or 4 gang wall unit; you will have to space them accordingly in order for them to fit just right.
