> 24 hourExcellent switch and ive been using it for over a month now. Response time is extremely quick with the app and google home and like another reviewer said if your smart enough to configure scenes and automation you can use more of these as dumb remote switches to control the main one much like a pico remote. I have a 100 year old home and this comes in handy since wiring 3way wire in each room is nearly impossible and many of the 15x20 rooms only have one light switch which becomes aggravating... Ive also configured these to control nightlights when you turn them on or off. Possibilities are endless. Wiring them are fairly easy and some reviews state they cant wrap the wire around the screw, this is the incorrect way to wire these. The screws are set screws and ive found them to be fairly strong and i do recommend if you have solid wire in your home it may help to use the same awg stranded wire jumpers and wirenuts to the existing wire to alleviate strain on the switch and if your wire is too short. You can get 14 or 12 awg stranded wire in various colors from any hardware store by the foot. In regards to metal faceplates i couldnt find good reviews to sugest against them and ive found in my setup they work great with metal faceplates with a plastic box and my ubiquiti uap ac pro ap; of course mileage may vary and everyones setup and home is differnet. I have yet to add the additional sheilding of a metal box which some of my boxes are that i havent converted yet.

> 24 hourMain issue is the instructions are outdated, if you install small life app while linking to Alexa an error will pop up stating app is old and needs to be renewed. The correct app needed is called TuyaSmart, once installed, logged into you will be able to easily link the app to Alexa. Had the instructions been correct from the beginning the product would be a 5 across the board. Very poor effort on this vendors part.

> 24 hourI brought this switch back in September 2019 and it worked great with Alex I was able to use it with Alex routines so I decided to buy another set of switches to control my porch lights January 10th 2020 after installing when I went to the Smart Life app to register the devices my account was gone which I found strange so I set it up again and had to reregister my old and new switch and since I have not be able to use with Alex. The Smart Life skill doesnt work, it doesnt discover the devices and the only way you can control it is through the Smart Life app. This really sucks. So if you plan to purchase and use with Alex dont there are other reliable brands out there. [UPDATE] So the lack of instructions was my downfall this switch is great once you figure out how to get it connected to Alexa. So instead of just using the Alex skill to the switch you have to sign into your Amazon account through the Smart Life app. Once you do that it all works great.

> 24 hourThe switch does a great job of turning the lights on and off; however, Alexa rarely recognizes them. She always works on the ceiling fan switch; however, will never turn on the light. She will turn off the light though. Its pretty frustrating.

> 24 hourI purchased these light switches as an affordable alternative to other name brands on the market that were 3 times the price! After receiving them, I called an electrician and had them installed by a reputable professional in my local area. I proceeded to navigate the the instructions to pair them with my wifi and after a couple of times, I had all the light switches paired and working great. Hopefully time will tell if they will last - I would say the only con of these lights is the housing itself is a little bigger than standard lights which is completely understandable, So if you will be installing multiple switches in a 2, 3, or 4 gang wall unit; you will have to space them accordingly in order for them to fit just right.

> 24 hourBasic electrical skills will allow you to install this with little to no effort. However, the back of the unit that goes in the wall is bulky, and makes wire management essential to get it to fit properly.

Thank You very much for the excellent Customer Service. I will continue to purchase your products! Update - March 25th 2023 - These people actually had the audacity to send a replacement and Charge me for it although they sent a Defective Product!! They charged my credit card without my consent!!! These people are not to be trusted and never purchase their products EVER!!!

> 24 hourWeve purchased several of these and they work pretty well. Theyre easy to install (make sure your electrical box has enough space) and connect to the network with the Smart Life App. After that, they work good when integrated with Google Assistant. The only issue weve had so far is one falling apart- the cover for the switch and the LED popped off. It looks like the cover is held in place with some thin double-sided tape. We were able to repair with some gel glue, and will see how long it holds.
