> 24 hourI could not be more happy. This is so well-made and so sturdy and does exactly what I needed to do. The yarn cakes are absolutely adorable once they are finished. No regrets. I’m a lucky lucky girl to get this for Christmas

> 24 hourI wish I had purchased this and the Stanwood Swift when I first began purchasing premium yarns from Expression Fiber Arts. They arrive in hanks. I have spent HOURS hand winding balls of yarn. This takes mere minutes and makes beautiful cakes.

> 24 hourThis is the real thing, DO NOT go buying those winders in the $25-$30 price range, I made the mistake once and I regret it, this Large Metal Ball Winder really gets the job done, its well made, durable, and super fast, theres a metal cogwheel model that also works but is a little noisy.

> 24 hourIts wonderful. I should have bought this one ages ago. It certainly works better than the electric one that I purchases a couple of years ago.

> 24 hourThis is so much better than the Loops and Threads winder I had before. Ive used it for yarn ranging from weight 3 to weight 6, and it works great for all of them. It can even wind up to about half a skein of Bernat Blanket (weight 6). Once I attach one end of the yarn to the winder, I do have to hang onto the other end, or itll almost certainly get pulled in and tangled up in the metal arms. But its worth it.

> 24 hourIt saves me the time balling up my yarn by hand so I can spend more time crocheting or knitting.

> 24 hourThis yarn winder is a godsend. It is made out of solid metal with nylon gears for reasonably quiet operation. It is not a cheap toy like most of the other yarn winders. I anticipate that I will be able to pass this on down to my younger relatives when I am done with it.

> 24 hourThis winder does a great job. Im a small batch wool dyer, and often have a batch of skeins to be wound, and this winder handles the work beautifully. Its sturdy - as opposed to the cheap plastic ones. The handle is ergonomically comfortable to use, and its simple to load. It handles all weights of yarn with ease, from very fine sock yarn up to bulky weights. Well worth the money.
