Greater than one weekI love this thing. Not every ball or skein of yarn needs to be rewound, but when they do, this can save tons of time. Its very well built and gives the impression of lasting for years. Ive had this for 6 months now and Im just as happy with it now as I was when I bought it, if not happier. I attach it to my ironing board and it stays where I put it. I especially love that it handles large skeins of yarn and will make as large a ball as I have needed so far.

> 3 dayWhile I havent actually used it yet, I can say that out of the box the product appears to be defective. The handle is bent just enough that it knocks into the clamp bar. My husband is going to try to fix it enough that it will turn smoothly. I was highly disappointed to see this as the product is top dollar. Otherwise it appears to be solid. I was hesitant to buy because it is a Made in China product and we prefer to buy US first and anything but chinese made products second as Chinese products are not known for high quality. Again, Disappointing...

> 3 dayI bought another winder first and gave it away. This one is so much sturdier and seems to hold up well. I wonder why it made a little snappy noise at first, not annoying, just there. Then I found a small piece of the packaging plastic caught inside the wheel. After taking that out, It was very quiet. I do like the soft sound of the gears, it is relaxing. I only found one problem and it may not be a problem, actually. The smaller gear got some kind of oily substance on it and between the gear and the nut. I do not know what this is, but it hasnt affected the working and it doesnt get on the yarn. I will just watch it and clean it off. Or maybe it is supposed to be there to keep the gears running smooth?!

21-11-2024Amazing product. Exceeded my expectations. I looked a long time for a jumbo sized winder. I just love winding yarn now. If only takes a few minutes instead of an hour or more by hand. No more knots!!

> 3 dayMy husband got me this for Christmas 2022. Winding yarn by hand hurts and cramps my hands. I also had arthritis in my hands. I have used it quite a bit. Really easy to set up and use. Was a great gift.
