Stanwood Needlecraft Large Metal Yarn/Fiber/Wool/String Ball Winder - 10 oz

I needed a yarn winder because I wanted a nice and tidy way to keep my yarn and so I can use it easier that what a ball would do. I have used it three times, back to back, and I love it!! I cant wait to use it more and more. Depending on the project, I like like to have large quantities of yarn, this worked perfect for that. It also worked well for smaller amounts. The cone is a bit large if you want to wind a 50 gram ball, but is perfect for anything more than that.

As advertised and on time. Would order again. The only problem is that everyone wants us to wind their extra yarn. :)

This thing is fantastic! I would have saved so much time and effort if I would have purchased this years ago. No more tangled skeins, and storing them is so much easier now! Its super easy to assemble for use and then disassemble for storage. It seems very sturdy, and has already worked very hard. If it ever does break, I would definitely buy again. It has already saved me enough time and frustration to be worth the price, and Ive only had it a few months.

Easy to put together, easy to use, makes cakes in record time, easy disassemble...that is all

knowing nothing about ball winders, I picked out the one with the most stars! I was not disappointed. Heavy duty, turns easily and smoothly, makes a great cake. Highly recommend this one.

Used this to wind some VERY slippery yarn. Had to use a toilet paper cardboard to wind the yarn on as it was too slippery without some type of base/support.

This one is great as it does larger yarn balls heavy duty easy to use with extra clamp area to attach. Love it !!!!!
