Its very awkward to use and the instructions are poor. For the amount of money and to have to manually wind the yarn, I was disappointed.

I only wish Id bought it sooner, rather than try a cheaper, smaller one. Its not even really that expensive when you think about it. Took less than a minute to get out of the package to having my first ball winding on it. PERFECT results and you can wind very fast - especially since youre not having to stop and deal with the yarn slipping.

I love this ball winder! It is sturdy and well-built. It will wind 100 gm of yarn--maybe more of a fine yarn. I have a smaller winder that would not do much over 50gm. This one will be with me for a long time.

Sturdy, easy to use, should last for years

The Starwood Yarn Winder, 10 ounce is outstanding. Easy to setup, easy to use. The base is sturdy metal for bracing to a table and the Winder is plastic. Nice heavy, durable plastic, not some cheap plastic. I love this Yarn Winder and highly recommend it to anyone looking for one.
