    Greater than one week

This little gadget has helped me get everything all organized and neatly stacked cakes of yarn! Very quiet, easy to use and super fast! Well worth the cost. Set up is fast, easy and painless and in less than 5 minutes you are ready to wind away. I put this to the test when I first opened the box and set it all up, I took a full pound of Red Hart and wound that into two cakes, one large and a smaller one, then I took a partial 120z skein and caked that into one cake with a bit of room to spare, by the time I was done 30 minutes later I had made seven cakes of yarn all neat and stacked up nice. High quality unit and would purchase again and recommend without reservation.

Sturdy, quality built, easy to use and assemble. Have recommended my friends to put it on their christmas list.

For all machine knitters. Anytime you have a skein or a ball of yarn, you can use this tool to make a smooth-flowing cake that wont run all over the floor as you knit. Makes tension more even. Run the yarn youre feeding over a piece of paraffin (youll find it at the grocery store with canning products) to help reduce static.

WOW!! Works great! If you buy cone yarn to save money like I do, go for the bigger higher quality winder... This wound a huge cone in two giant balls! Excellent quality and should last a long time. The only criticism is the arm above the unit that feeds the yarn, it tends to loosen so keep an eye on it. If it isnt fully upright, the yarn doesnt wind correctly and may break. I am thinking of putting a rubber washer or two to see if that helps. I will keep you posted

This made the knitter in my life very happy. I am glad I bought this one and not one of the cheaper ones. Seems well made and works very well.

My husband got me this for Christmas 2022. Winding yarn by hand hurts and cramps my hands. I also had arthritis in my hands. I have used it quite a bit. Really easy to set up and use. Was a great gift.

I own this once your wound on . couple tips ... with outer line make three wraps around the ball take that line and loop under the lines you just wrapped leaving a short tail sticking out for easy access .. With the line coming out the bottom take the ball of Yarn cup it in your hands and lightly mash it in place then take the inside line and tuck it up it inside leaving some sticking out place a piece of tape , to hold it in place ... Happy Weaving

Love this! The instructions told me exactly how to put this together and I did it with no help from my husband. Im not mechanically inclined so this was a big accomplishment for me. Once I got it together, I followed the pictures on how to thread the yarn and wind my yarn into balls. It worked like a charm. I had a couple of operator errors, but it had nothing to do with the product. Its very quite and it definitely is going to make my crochet projects go better without the yarn getting knots in it coming directly out of the skein. So if you are looking for a yarn winder at a great price, I would highly recommend.
