> 3 dayI wish Id gotten this years ago. My previous winder worked well, but only made small cakes of yarn. The Stanwood lets me wind an entire skein. Very smooth and very fast.

> 3 dayVery fast and easy to use, no mater how much yarn you need to wind. I love that the cakes sit flat and dont roll all around like a ball does. I dont have to keep it corralled . I havent had any issues!

Greater than one weekThis is a great tool for the serious (or semi-serious) yarnie. I have owned a smaller unit from another vendor for about a year, and was pleased for the most part. However, after several winding mini and/or near disasters, I decided it was time to upgrade. And I am so glad I did. This is a flawless machine--at least so far. I have been using it for about a month now, and it consistently winds great center-pull cakes. Handles larger than 100g hanks with ease. Assembly was a breeze, and so far its been a gem.

> 3 dayI picked this large yarn winder because of its metal components and Im glad I did. Other ball winders that I had researched had to many plastic parts, and we all know what happens to plastic after a while. It was very easy to set-up and its very easy to use, Im glad I took my time and did my research. Very happy with my purchase.

Greater than one weekI love using this for all the leftover yarn to make them into neat little cakes. I use it for 7 oz skeins too. It winds effortlessly and neatly so its easy to pull yarn from center while working. It was easy to set up and attach to a table. I bought one as a gift then later went back and got one for myself!

Greater than one weekMy local yarn store had this ball winder in their shop and after seeing how nice and smooth it caked the yarn hanks, I had to have one. I am not disappointed! Its a nice, sturdy winder. I havent wound any yarn heavier than a worsted weight yet, but I would be surprised if it couldnt handle a bulky yarn. So glad I bought this winder.

> 3 dayThis is my first yarn winder and I just got it about an hour ago. I have a lot of Caron simply soft yarn so I wound a whole skein.
