> 3 dayThis ball winder is AMAZING! I have broken 2 smaller winders previously and was getting really frustrated when I decided to invest in this much higher quality tool. I wind miles and miles of yarn, so it is worth it to me to have a smooth winding action and to NOT have tangles and mistakes. The gears make it so quiet and I love that it can handle larger quantities of yarn without having to break it up into more than one cake. An excellent product, and I would highly recommend it for the serious crafter who winds a moderate to large quantity of yarn on a regular basis.

Greater than one weekI bought this as a christmas gift for daughter in law whos into knitting. Over the span of three nights (an hour here and there) we managed to wind over 70 balls of yarn. I have to say it was quite addictive. We found ourselves thinking about buying more yarn so we could play with this thing. Easy and fast to use.

> 3 dayI picked this large yarn winder because of its metal components and Im glad I did. Other ball winders that I had researched had to many plastic parts, and we all know what happens to plastic after a while. It was very easy to set-up and its very easy to use, Im glad I took my time and did my research. Very happy with my purchase.

Greater than one weekBe careful to watch your feeding of the yarn and you will be fine with any type of yarn. The directions were a little tricky to assemble but the pictures do help.

> 3 dayTakes a little getting used to, bit one you understand how it works, it makes winding large skeins of yarn a snap.

> 3 dayDoes a great job of balling yarn in a short amount of time. I recommend this winder especially if you by yarn in shanks.

> 3 dayGreat winder. Great price. Nice, neat, tight yarn cakes. I will never go back to how I use to wind my yarn - ever!

> 3 dayLove this compared to my last plastic winder. It doesnt catch, snag, or struggle. I will say that its easy to use but its taken me a few tries to make sure I understand how the yarn goes through the first loop and then the second loop. But once you get going, it cakes yarn so easily. Instead of using my whole shoulder to really turn the crank, I can use just a few fingers and thats saving my sore shoulders so much. Love it!

Greater than one weekHigh quality product. Metal brackets make it sturdy and easy to use. Less expensive products have problems with threading arm collapsing. No problem here
