Winding yarn, but the yarn does have tangles when I knit,. I pull from the inside.

Love this ball winder, works very well, worth the price!

It took a bit to get it to not double wrap the yarn and lock down at first, but once I figured it out, it works like a charm. Its much easier than rolling a ball of yarn by hand.

Sturdy, easy to use. Works well with large skeins of yarn and even thread.

Works wonders with all kinds of yarn this will last a life time if your looking for a great ball winder this is it and its worth spending the money for it. Will buy again if this one breaks. Oh yes Ive made at least 50 cakes in one day already with store bought yarn and my own sheep wool that I have spun came out lovely. Very well please!

So far I really like this winder. It is sturdy and is easy-to-use. I enjoy working the yarn much better when it is not all tangled.

I wish I had purchased this and the Stanwood Swift when I first began purchasing premium yarns from Expression Fiber Arts. They arrive in hanks. I have spent HOURS hand winding balls of yarn. This takes mere minutes and makes beautiful cakes.

I couldnt love this thing more than I do. Makes me want to randomly wind all my yarn including ones I am not even ready to use and I recommend this to everyone. Worth the extra money to make bigger cakes. The maker also had it on sale and I was able to get a price match on it and a partial refund for the difference which I really appreciated since I just bought it and really didnt want to send it back and buy the other just to save money but certainly would have. I am very pleased with my purchase and the product is wonderful.
