> 3 dayeasy to mount, make sure your power cord is a 90 degree end as there isnt much room behind when a switch is mounted in rack.

Greater than one weekThe network cables in my apartment terminate an a fairly awkward spot for a desk or a shelf, but its a decent position for an end table. I bought this rack (and the LACK table from ikea if anyone else want to do something similar) for that purpose and it works very well. However, this 8U rack only comes with 6U worth of mounting hardware. I could not find that information in the text areas of the product page, but the last picture does say that only 24 sets of the nuts and bolts come with it. I have to take one star off because the BOM should be prominently listed on the page. The product description says that the cage nuts and screws are included. In my opinion, a reasonable interpretation of that is when buying an 8U rack with included hardware, the product would include 8U worth of hardware. Its not necessarily a deal breaker, I just think that the count of hardware should be explicitly stated in the product description if you are only going to receive 75% of what could be reasonably expected. But like I said, not a deal breaker in my case because this project is planned to take a few months and I only have 6U worth of devices anyway. But that is just my specific situation. Tl; dr: Please keep in mind, you will only be able to mount 6, 1U devices in this 8U rack without buying additional hardware. Thats a product page issue, but the product itself is exactly as advertised.

> 3 dayIve spent a decade designing and building various sized racks of computer equipment. I didnt need much for my home network setup but also didnt want to pay an arm and a leg for one either. This was super affordable, had U locations on both rails, included mounting hardware, and is more than sturdy enough. One complaint is the support rail used on top or bottom of rack does cut into the top/bottom U location, so if mounting 3 2U servers, it likely would give you issues.

> 3 dayThis rack overall is fine. Its not the sturdiest rack and you really need some good sturdy devices mounted but for the money its fine. I used it with some AC Infinity Vented Cantilever shelves and with those it was rigid enough where I wasnt worried about too much warping. Next time around though I will probably get something a little more solid.

Greater than one weekIn case you cannot tell by the picture there are two of these racks. One on each side under the speakers. You just cannot get this kind of quality any cheaper. I could have easily stacked the two, thrown some shelving material around them and had a fantastic looking sidecar for &120. They are extremely modular and come in different sizes depending on your needs. I not only would buy these again I am going to buy some more to keep for future projects.

> 3 dayMy first rack and Im super happy. For whatever reason I just wanted walls on the sides, this delivered. I have no idea what the top bar is though? Super sturdy feeling and it doesnt seem it will get scratched up. Get your own rack nuts because all free ones are meh, I expected this though. I built the wood shelving around it. Found out my walls are brutally concave. Without the curve it would have been 20 in and the rack would be so snug. I basically researched every other option on Amazon and this one seemed the best bang for my buck.

> 3 dayI was pleasantly surprised by this rack. Frankly I expected something more flimsy based on a couple other reviews, but its actually nicely made and quite sturdy especially when you put in a few components. I have not mounted it on the wall just yet - but I expect that to go easily. Pros: - Sturdy - Powder coat finish - even. No sharp edges. Cons: - Only comes with (12) M6 screws/nuts which basically gives you 3 components you can mount in this rack. I would have at least put 20 or 24 because you are likely to fill it up completely and not a large cost over all (perhaps a few pennies?). Plan to get a few more screw/nuts if you have more than 3 items going in this rack. There are a few options on amazon (unfortunately most come in a 25 or 50 pack ... and are silver not black ... at least that I could find). I bought this for managing the nerve center on my new house still under construction ... so it will house my modem, router, a switch, NAS, power strip, patch panel and with a bit of room for a 1U NAS/Server down the road - tbd. Will update after the install but expect this to be a winner.

> 3 dayVery sturdy, but it does not come with enough screws to put something in every slot.

> 3 dayThis was my first time mounting a wall rack of any kind and I found the StarTech to be very straightforward to install. The wall I used did not have studs on 16 centers so I first mounted a 3/4 plywood backing board with .25x2.5 lag screws and fender washers then mounted the rack to the plywood using the included screws. No problems there. I find StarTechs decision to only include 3U worth of mounting hardware with a 6U rack a little disappointing especially considering how expensive their hardware is to purchase separately relative to their competitors. I think I speak for most when I say that I would gladly pony up the extra couple of bucks that it would cost (even allowing for a 100% margin!) to include a full complement of hardware with the rack.
