> 3 dayI am super-pleased with this rack. I just revamped my home network and used this rack for my modem, router, patch panel, switch and PDU. It was very easy to install and seems solidly mounted. Its a 9U unit and it had plenty of space for what I needed, plus more for expansion. But with a bunch of cat-6 cabling plus all the power cables, its starting to get a little crowded inside. But, with good cable dressing its not a big problem. Id definitely recommend this product.

> 3 dayAssuming you mounted it properly to studs, this thing is incredibly sturdy. Should be able to support any equipment no problem.

> 3 dayI am sure this will support more weight not sure if you have room for it. 1. Heavy duty steel with folded edges 2. Not enough Rack screws to mount 6 1U devices.Only come with screws for 3 (12). So add in another 6 bucks for more screws. 3. The supplied drywall anchors are the plastic self driving type and I would not really trust them to support expensive equipment. Look for studs or attach a board to studs then this to the board.. 4. The top bar is not 100% necessary and can be moved to the bottom as the unit has no top or bottom, the mounting holes have slots in both directions. I had the rack full so removed the bar. Attached directly to concrete block for me this should hold a great deal more than 40lbs. Besides the poor mounting hardware and lack of additional screws this is a great product.

> 3 dayWorks well and was as described. I am knocking off a star because of two issues. The first is they didnt give enough screws and clips for all the holes. I got 8 sets yet this is a 6U requiring 12 sets to fully populate. REALLY. For the cost of 4 screws and 4 clips they short you. Just charge an extra 1.00. The second is that the metal is just a touch flimsy. Not bad and after mounting it is solid but prior to mounting the rack can be twisted. All in all Im happy.

> 3 dayThe rack is nice and sturdy for a home switch/ patch panel rack. It was easy to install on my wall I used lag screws. I fed my cables through the hole on the back of the rack to keep things nice and tidy. Switches and patch panel went in without any issues. The only thing I did not like was the silver hardware that came with the rack. I prefer black to match the color of the rack. Besides that it is a very nice rack for the price and gives me some room for expansion.

> 3 dayI love almost everything about this rack. Not too big, not too small, feels sturdy, looks good. Using this for a home network with LAN drops in every room. The open design worked well for my purposes. My biggest issue was the mounting itself. First on that, it does come with M5 (not M6 as described) cage nuts and bolts. I was mounting this to some open studs by myself which is always a little awkward. Anyhow, the provided wood screws’ heads were exactly the same size as the holes in the back of the rack. This means that you can’t screw in the wood screws and place the rack over them and slide it in to place. You would HAVE to have someone else hold it in place while you screwed it in. I also managed to strip 3 out of the 6 provided so I went out a bought #10 x 1-1/2in screws to replace the originals. They worked perfectly. I was able to slide the rack right over the top of them which made the mounting take all but 10 minutes with 9/64 pilot holes. After it was mounted, everything is perfect and beautiful. Pros: Cost, value, aesthetics, size, prime delivery, relatively light weight, sturdy. Cons: Hardware (both M5 cage nuts which should have been M6 as well as the awful wood screws)

> 3 dayId give it a 5 as it was perfect for my home network closet. If you cant use a drill or find a stud you might need help installing this but if you are buying this you should probably already have a good idea of what you are getting into. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH CAGE NUTS to fill all 6us properly. Im going to have to buy extra which is a big downer. So beware you might need to spend up to $20 more to get enough cage nuts.

> 3 dayHolds my (relatively) simple home networking setup just fine and is securely attached to cinderblock walls. Its a bit of a tight squeeze for units right next to eachother and the price is not cheap, but it does what it says.

> 3 daySo the material is pretty sturdy like most people have said but not sure it was mentioned anywhere it only comes with 12 screws for a 6u case so unless your mounting things that only require one screw per side you will come up 12 screws short so pick up some M6 cabinet hardware. Also there is a cross bar in the top of the shelf so the top 1u is best used for a patch panel of something super small.

> 3 dayThe rack is just the right size to fit under a counter. It was also the right size as I was only mounting two 1u patch panels and 2 1u switches. The rack is about 14 lbs. not sure why the description indicates 44. It is very well built and sturdy to sit on the floor of the cabinet without mounting it to the backwall. The only thing to be aware of is the cabinet only comes with 10 screws and cage nuts, its a 6u cabinet and one would think if all 6u are used there should be 4 screws and cage nuts per 1u so 24. You may need to make separate purchase of screws and cage nuts if you plan to use more than 2u with four screws per.
