> 24 hourWe bought two of these for an upcoming roadtrip with a newly potty trained 2 year old. Luckily we didnt have to experience them in action. Prior to having them I was using burb cloths on her seat and those would still be fine. But I like that this is one piece and you dont have to adjust it every time she gets in the car. I could be a little longer, both ways but I think it fits its purpose and I would recommend it to a friend.

> 24 hourI wish we had bought these when we first installed the car seats. Our little one drinks a ton of water, and often the diaper doesnt last even short trips. The car seats we have require you to remove the carseat, and all the straps to take off the cleanable seat pad. This is quite a pain and requires too much time to do often. With this it takes 5 secs to install, and less to pull it off. Throw it in the wash and good to go. Comes with 2, and at a great price. We have a carseat in each car, so I am going to order another pack to have 2 in each car!

> 24 hourI bought these on a whim while potty training my 3 ear old and now wondering why I didnt purchase sooner!! We have several car seats in our 4 cars and I didnt want to have to be constantly washing them if he had any accidents. Once received, I ended up purchasing additional ones for my infant daughter just to protect her seat fabric! They are a life saver if youre a busy parent like me and frequently are on the go with kiddos strapped into car seats.

> 24 hourGiven the mixed reviews, I decided to test this before using. When I took this out of the package, I sprinkled a few drops of water on it... and sure enough they beaded up and rolled right off. This didnt surprise me - I always wash towels at least once before using or they dont absorb anything. So, I washed this according to the instructions and it seemed significantly more absorbent after washing. It has not been tested by a toddler pee incident yet... but I bet it will perform better having been washed. The overall design is great and it fits my two very different car seats equally well. I will circle back once the true test has been passed (or failed).... UPDATE: I washed this a second time because of squashed Cheerios and sundry other sticky spots, and then we finally had a full-on pee accident. This worked GREAT! It held all the liquid with literally about 2 drops making it onto the car seat cover. We stopped pretty much right away and changed clothes, etc. - I was impressed by how much this absorbed. I will not leave home without it!!

> 24 hourI am using this in a Britax Advocate car seat with a newly potty trained toddler. Recently, my toddler had a BIG accident while riding in the car seat. The piddle pad did not hold all of the liquid and I did have to wash the car seat cover. HOWEVER---- the pad protected the car seat and the back seat of my car. I didnt have to take the car seat out and my back seat was dry. I just had to remove the car seat cover and wash it. I think this piddle pad would work perfectly for little accidents.

> 24 hourBought this for use with our second child and started using it right away in her infant carseat. From previous experience, having to remove a car seat or stroller cover for wash is not only cumbersome, but means you cant use the carseat or stroller until washing is done. Ive already had an opportunity to see this pad in action when my newborn had some heavy duty spit up in the carseat, and this saved us from a major wash, but some did leak through the hole where the buckle fit through, which is why I didnt give it 5 stars. I understand the need for the hole, but it is a bit wide. Otherwise great buy, and would definitely recommend.

> 24 hourWent on a long 6 hour car trip with my potty training 3 year old and I was nervous about him having an accident in his car seat. About 2 hours into the trip he had a pee accident and I was so grateful I had put the piddle pad down, it did its job and absorbed all the pee, his seat remained dry! I have two piddle pads now and think they are a great investment, just tossed it in the washing machine to clean!

> 24 hourIf my daughter did a small accident, this worked great. I wouldnt have to wash the entire seat cover. But if she just let everything that she had been holding in for hours go in her seat, this pad didnt save much at all. The accident still soaked through and the seat cover needed to be washed. Keep in mind, I have only dealt with number 1 accidents, my little one hasnt done a number 2 with this yet so I cannot attest to it strength on that end.

> 24 hourThis product almost deserves 5 stars - the only reason its getting a 4 is because I think it should be a little longer overall. We make many road trips to see family (being in the military) and go for long stretches of time without stopping, especially if the little one is sleeping. Well, regardless of whether our son is wearing a nighttime diaper or not, the sheer fact that he is sitting up in that position causes leaks. The piddle pad does a pretty good job at catching most of those leaks, however, sometimes the leak goes above the top of the pad onto the back of the carseat, or further in front by his legs, getting the bottom of the seat (which happens most often). We bought two of these so that if it happened along the journey, we could quickly change him, swap the pad out for another, and keep on going without having to rig the carseat so he didnt sit in pee - and then worse yet, having to dismantle the carseat and rewash the entire cover (a serious chore with the mammoth car seat I bought). I do like how it shapes to fit the car seat and the seat belts, by way of the open slits in the sides. I just wish it was a little longer overall. When I found out I was pregnant with #2, I again went online to purchase more piddle pads and I did look at other products too in comparison. But for the price, and taking into account the features of the other pads, this one still seemed like the better option, so we now we have four overall.

> 24 houra worthy investment for those with kiddies in toilet training. keeps you from having to constantly clean a car seat and no more whats that smell when you get in your car and realized you forgot to clean the pee pee mess from last night thats now dried into the seat. easy to place and doesnt get overly hot for the child. easy to wash and holds up well to washing as well.
