The batteries that come with it last at most, only two shifts of work for me. I work nights so I have to constantly use this flashlight and its usually out of battery by the end of the week.

quality light, feels a little plasticy but seems durable, good beam seems to work just as described.

What a pleasure to find a light these days without 5 modes. This has a friendly 2 mode with high and low. And for my old eyes I got the yellow. Its well built and for a company thats known for anodized battle ready light, this new material is very nice and offers a firm grip. Ive got 30-odd flashlights lying around from many manufacturers and of low to height price, so take it or leave it, this is one I will buy again.

I bought this back in January and it is May with the flashlight very weak. I even bought extra batteries and a charger and still hold a very weak light. Do not buy this light, it is too late for me to send back. I feel I got ripped off.

We’ve always loved our shirt fires, so why not get a cool, bright color. It is extremely durable. God has a very bright light to shine long distances.

While I appreciate the quality and customer service of Surefire, Im not a huge fan of this flashlight. I bought this to use for low light pistol shooting classes that I take. While I have weapon lights on my pistols, I wanted to have a backup handheld flashlight. The good thing about this model is that it is momentary only, so you wont accidentally hit the switch and leave it on, exposing your position while you fumble to try and turn off the light. But the bad thing about the switch on this model is that it takes a lot of pressure to depress the button and activate the light. When used as a weapon light in the Rogers / SureFire hold, it takes a fair amount of pressure to activate the switch against my palm. I find it awkward to maintain a hold for more than a few seconds. I prefer the lighter pressure and longer throw of the Fenix tactical switches, although I can understand the desire to prevent the SureFire from accidentally being activated. And the pressure required to activate the light has me a little concerned about involuntary sympathetic response when used in a Rogers hold--when you squeeze with your support hand to activate the light, you have to be very careful that you dont unintentionally move your trigger finger. I also dont like that rotating the tail cap can turn the light on. I wish they provided shims / washers to prevent the tail cap from rotating fully, thus preventing the light from ever activating fully. But the tail cap isnt loose, so it does take effort to rotate it, and I guess I could put something on the threads to increase the resistance. My last note is that this flashlight is blindingly bright for low light / night shooting situations. When flashed quickly to momentarily identify something, it produces a blinding flash if your eyes are adjusted to the darkness. If you leave it on, your eyes adjust quickly, but the light is crazy bright in a dark room. For night shooting classes, this flashlight is too bright if you are doing CQ shooting--if the beam hits a nearby white wall or paper target that you are using for cover, it is blinding. I find that 200 is my preferred max for low light shooting (TLR-1s, etc.). But other than those quibbles, its a very well made flashlight, and the design is perfect for Rogers hold.

Even I n the middle of the day this thing is like looking into the sun...! The amount of light this puts out and the tightness of the beam is amazing..! There is absolutely no hole in the center of the spot produced. Its like what you see in the movies, only its real. Its very easy to hold in my non-trigger hand in a two-handed grip, and still be able to flash the light on with a minimal squeeze. Im extremely happy with this purchase, and Amazon sells it for under half the price of what the exact same part number is going for at the range.

This is a great small portable USA made flashlight. Very bright for the small portable size. I would say 300 luminous plus. I would highly recommend it since its compact very simple to operate. Not a ton of features but thats what you want when you need a flashlight to truly work every time.

I am a flashlight freak. I have dozens of all types from many manufactures. SureFire has become my favorite, my go to brand. Streamlight is second. This product is my seventh like it. I use them in my vehicles, my motorhome, my boat and on my AR platform rifles. I have NEVER had a problem. The only thing I have concerns about is the newer lights are some sort of plastic. My older versions are aluminum. Time will tell.

I had one of these ten years ago, still have it, and liked it so much I bought a second one recently. They are the perfect light for doing general purpose inspections in house, car, and in the field. The beam is perfectly smooth and even, the lumen-power is more than adequate, the battery life is long, the battery type (CR123) gives great reliability and longevity, and the tail switch is waterproof and ergonomic. Surefire figured out a long time ago that making these lights with a ring for clenching in your teeth is a good thing, and this one can be easily clenched with your teeth which is like having a third hand. Buy one.
