Great flashlight. Just wish it was USB rechargeable. I love the simple on off switch. Too many flashlights these days you have to do double and triple clicks to change modes. This is just a simple one click on/off super bright flashlight.

Nice light so far. I like it. Took over as my EDC light from my previous E2DL Defender, the 200 lumen model. I carry this in a Raven belt holster with a Thrym Switchback. I already have a 6PX Tactical model but needed dual light outputs for everyday tasks, and I dont like how most of the Surefire light offerings have low->high as the clicky switch order. This high->low works better for me as an EDC compromise. This G2X LE has a noticeably whiter light compared to the 6PX and is also noticeably lighter due to the G2X body not being metal like the 6PX. Still, it feels like itd take a beating despite the lighter material. Also, the heads are exactly the same so works well in my kydex holsters I already had for the 6PX.

For $80 this light is fantastic. It is light weight, and bright as can be. I put this on my AK and had no issues seeing a man sized target from 150 yards. Easily made hits.

This light fell from 25ft height on bunch of boulders and only had few scratches. It’s not the brightest light I own but definitely the most durable one

Excellent product. I carry one of these on my belt daily. Has never failed me. Highly recommended.

I rate this flashlight 5 stars because it’s a good flashlight to use for duty although it gets hot fast and the battery life on it sucks. I have bought the big pack of batteries because the battery life it bad and also have used the rechargeable batteries and they help just a tad bit more but still have to charge them very often.

I use this flashlight on my bicycle as a riding light. I can see the glow of the light on the various street traffic signs as I ride home at night in the city. The signs up to 1.5 blocks show the glow of the light which is impressive to me. I also take it out to my farm sometimes and use it to look for varmints that might be lurking around trying to steal a chicken or a pig. The light shows off the glow of the deer eyes and they are usually about 400 feet away. It can be kind of eerie looking at those glowing eyes.

This is our third SureFire light. High quality. I really like having the option of two levels of intensity. The higher intensity level is bright enough to light up a large room.

I had a tough time deciding between the G2X LE and the G2x Tactical. The LE version turns on emitting 600 lumens and can switch to 15 lumens to extend battery life. The Tactical version turns on emitting 600 lumens and thats it. That makes the Tactical version more reliable when seconds count. That being said, I bought the LE because I can access the same high light mode the first time, every time while still having an admin mode helping to preserve my night vision. I like this set up a lot but can understand the argument for the Tactical version. I find the reach to be sufficient, the beam to have a nice bright center with an excellent diffuse light surrounding that enabling peripheral vision. The light does have a slightly green tint to it, but I dont care. The light is light and reliable and USA designed, built and guaranteed - thats pretty dang good in my book. This is the one I have on my belt because it checks off all of my boxes. PS - The third G2X option is the Pro. This light turns on in the 15 lumen setting and can be bumped up to the 600 lumen setting with a quick half press of the tail switch. This is a great option if this is more of a survival light or a just in case light for you because it will help to extend your battery life. This was not an option for me because I was looking for a tactical light and need the maximum brightness right off the bat. PPS - Check out the Fenix ARB-L16-700 16340 battery (you need 2) for a rechargeable option to help save you a bundle of money on batteries. You will get a shorter runtime out of rechargeables, but you will save money over single use CR123As.

Great flashlight-- holds up when mounted to a rifle (for those with experience, its the kind of rifle that gets VERY hot up front).
