> 3 dayI got the LE model, and this really is an excellent flashlight. It feels durable, and has rolled around in backpacks, pockets, and freezing cold vehicles with no issues at all. The light output is incredible, with a nicely focused area in the center of the beam without sacrificing too much peripheral lighting. Ive used it for patrols at work, outdoors activities, and even briefly as a temporary (and very effective) headlight for a vehicle that didnt have any installed while moving from a garage to a barn. The low power mode is, as youd expect, sufficient for looking at things closer up, reading, navigating tricky terrain in the dark without blinding anyone, etc. The light is almost bigger than Id want to put in the pockets of my jeans, but fits nicely inside a jacket pocket or similar. Its nice to be able to partially unscrew the tail cap so that the light doesnt come on inside a pocket or backpack and drain battery life. The light is a little bit pricier than what I was used to paying for flashlights, but for a durable and extremely effective product like this I dont mind paying.

> 3 dayIf you need a good flashlight, you buy a SureFire. If battery life is a concern, then you buy a SureFire and extra batteries. This is a compact unit and very multi-purpose. I bought the yellow one because my other good flashlights kept getting borrowed or going missing. Easy to spot when its yellow.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent quality flashlight. It is very easy to operate, and it generates more than enough light. It should be noted that this flashlight was a little shorter in length than I had expected, but it will be fine for most men unless you have extra large (XL) sized hands. For whatever it is worth, my Surefire flashlight was sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon. It was definitely NOT a counterfeit. It is an authentic Surefire flashlight and I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayI have several lights by SUREFIRE and like them all. This one is a replacement for one that a Rotti pup made short work of the end cap. If they moved to Arizona or Texas from California to make these they could reduce the price while maintaining their margins. Many other manufactures are.

> 3 dayWhat is there to say it’s a sure fire. Minus one star for cold white low CRI emitter.

> 3 dayI really like surefire. I use this light daily for work with theSurefire (V70) Rugged Polymer Speed Holster, Black. It leads with the bright light which I wanted. The only downside to this light if you are in a dark area and only want to light up areas quickly on /off type use it will be bright than the next time low....that is what it is supposed todo but I have found that not good in a few circumstances. If that could be a problem for a buyer pick a light with one output.

> 3 dayI have several now, the price and power is pretty unbeatable. I like to throw a Thyrm switchback on them to make it easier to handle, if you haven’t seen ‘em check it out hopefully this doesn’t get me in trouble lol but the flashlights are pretty much indestructible, I love 123a batteries despite the price they have 10 year shelf life so take my word for it always buy the branded 123a surefire sells they’re the best. Low light is awesome for not draining batteries and being usable, bright is “holy bleep” bright so you won’t be lacking. Highly recommend having 1 or more in your car, house, purse/bag etc. you never know when you will need a real flashlight and iPhone flashlight doesn’t cut it

> 3 dayI like the fact that this flashlight has the brightest option 1st. For security work this is a plus feature. And for a rating of 500 lumens its very bright. A good quality and value for the price.

> 3 dayThe first click of the tail cap gives a blinding 400 lumens of light to temporarily blind an attacker or an unwanted aggressor. Then second click gives low level 15 lumens for a comfortable light output for work in the dark. Buy the SureFire V70 Black Polymer Speed Holster to go with it like I did so you can have it secured and ready for quick deployment. The V 70 allows you to insert the flashlight in either direction, tail cap up or tail cap down. Tail cap up exposes the entire grip of flashlight so you can reach, grab and pull out lightning fast. Tail cap down exposes just the head of the light. Both positions secure your light very well. Holster comes with a 3” belt loop with an adapter to install to shorten loop size down the thickness of piece of para cord. I will be buying more of these for everyone in my family.
