Nice product Useful tool for Windows Hello and eye-tracking However, after playing for a long period of time, the eye-tracking function seems a bit lag, which is ok after replugging in the USB connector.

This is a step up from TrackIR. I find it smooth and responsive, without the hassle of having to clamp anything to your headset. The eye tracking, in combination with the head tracking takes some getting use to, but after some setting tweaks and getting use to it, everything feels more natural. For me, the real game changer is not having to clamp anything to your head, and still having the freedom of movement and smoothness that you get with other head trackers. Yes, it seems expensive, but it is set and forget. As an added bonus it opens up Windows Hello login....so even more convenience. No regrets at al, with this purchase.

I was completely satisfied with this product when I was using it on my 27 inch monitor. I recently switched to at 32 inch monitor and got the mounting kit for the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 and attached it to my new monitor. It seems to still work with ~90% with the eye tracking. I noticed when I was setting the eye tracker that the dots were not on the very edge of the monitor. In Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, it works well. The head tracking works perfectly fine and the eye tracking works for most of the monitor, except for an inch or so around the edges. It really adds to making the game more immersive. I wonder if there is a way for Tobii to have the software have a choice for monitor sizes. That would be ideal so customers can have more choice and have 100% functionality.

It was incredibly easy to set up, and it works almost immediately. No issues, have been using it for over a month.

Easy to install. Easy to set up. Little bit of messing around with the settings and in game settings. Got it exactly how I want in just a few minutes. This is a complete game changer. Lot of videos out there on settings also. Highly recommended.

After spending years in VR, I was skeptical about trying out this tech. However, I was shocked at how fantastic it works in games like Star Citizen of all games. Combine it with an ultrawide monitor and itll feel as close to high-res VR youll get without needing a headset. Players in Star Citizen crack up since you have full head tracking. People see me turn my head naturally where ever I move my head, even tilting it to the sides to look sideways. Great for immersion!

First, I want to say that the tracker itself works beautifully. The head tracking and eye tracking work flawlessly for me both on the desktop of my computer and within Elite Dangerous, the game I bought it for. It was easy to set up once installed and gives me zero issues even if I sit at slightly different angles each time I use it. That said, my only complaint is not with the tracker but with the newer mounting solution. The old-style mounts (2 included) that stick directly to the lower bezel of your monitor adhere very well. If youre going to use one of these mounts, I recommend you magnetically snap it to the back of the tracker first before removing the cover on the adhesive strip. Then place the whole thing against the bezel as centered as you can and hold it there for a few seconds while applying pressure so the adhesive can bond. When doing it this way, I found it much easier to align and level the tracker as I mounted it. But the new universal mount? The adhesive was nowhere near as sticky on this mount as it was on the old mounts. I cleaned the bottom of my monitor to clear it of any dust and then dried it as the instructions said to. Then I placed the mount, making sure that the maximum amount of surface area between the adhesive pads and the monitor bezel were in contact before holding it there under pressure for a few minutes. Once the tracker was snapped on, the mount stayed in place for about 30 seconds before falling. The adhesive pads, which werent very sticky to begin with, got dirty as the thing bounced around on my desk, rendering the new mount totally useless. Further attempts to re-stick it to the bottom of my monitor met with even less success than the first. So to recap, the newer, universal mount is my only complaint with this produce. I think it would be much better if the adhesive were stickier like it is on the older mounts. Tobii could also consider including a few spare velcro adhesive pads for this mount so that follow-up attempts with it could be made if the first one fails and the adhesive gets too dirty to stick anymore.
