> 3 dayI got sick and tired of cheap drugstore umbrellas getting broken and wind-reversed all the time. I wanted a reasonably priced yet well working umbrella. I read tons of reviews all over the internet, and I ended up with this one. So far, its done very well. It hasnt turned inside out. Last week, I had to be outside in the rain for 2.5 hours. This umbrella was great. Except for a couple of drips (and considering the nasty weather I was in, I expected a couple), I had no issues. I love that its a pretty big umbrella that folds to a nice size. Sure, its way bigger than the micro umbrellas, but if you need a mini, look elsewhere. About my only complaint is that it can be difficult to collapse it in inclement weather, with rain and wind beating down. I wish the auto open button would also auto close it. But I knew it didnt do that when I purchased it, so I cant fault anyone but myself for that issue. Otherwise, great umbrella.

> 3 dayThe best way to test an umbrella is during hurricane season in South Florida. Best umbrella thus far. To bad someone stole it. Pros - Stands up wind gust - great coverage for two people - compact to fit in a fairly large back pack (this is not a purse friendly umbrella) - handles well in a heavy down pour - has a great opening mechanism and a breeze to close - comes with a cover that has netted vent - the handle also has an elastic band to wrap around your wrist - heavy enough to use a decent brunt object just i case your have to defend yourself :) Cons: - its not really a compact umbrella. Like i said ladies, its not purse friendly. This is must for a Floridian. Keep a close eye on it though... Someone WILL steal it.

> 3 dayAfter my son and I got caught in a really heavy rainstorm that blew my previous umbrella inside out and broke it, I wanted an umbrella that would be compact, easy to carry, and would be able to cover both me and my baby when I carry him. This umbrella is huge and stores fairly easy for its size. It seems very sturdy and I like the blue color. Now I find myself wishing for rain so that I get to use it!

> 3 dayJust the umbrella I wanted. As others have stated, this umbrella is a tad bit heavier than the other ones out on the market however it also feels sturdier and not as flimsy due to the weight. Its definitely not one of those umbrellas you want to carry in a bag but more of one that you would use to pick up people (since it is a golf sized) and maybe leave in the car for when you do your groceries and such. If you want to carry it in your backpack, youll have to strap it to the side or expect it to poke out the top since its quite long. Other than that, its the umbrella I exactly wanted and if I had one bad thing about it is that it is not auto-close which makes me use both hands in order to close it. (The horror~~)

> 3 daySturdy umbrella, able to survive the 100mph winds that whip through the streets of downtown Boston. Big enough that it covers you from head to toe, though maybe a little too big for one person when walking down a crowded sidewalk, though the size is just right for 2 people. The strap is flexible rubber and can be kind of annoying when carrying it that way, though, as it bounces all over the place and kind of tweaks your wrist.

> 3 dayHad my first set stolen from me. Had to reorder two more. Great customer service from Amazon. The umbrellas themselves are amazing. I had the same exact umbrella for over 10 years. I left it behind and it was gone. Im very happy with the newer models. They feel just as good as my old one. They havent changed on quality. The secondary flap is extremely useful for those very windy days. Im a big guy. 64 290 lbs and Im able to stay dry under this. It opens to a great size. But still fits inside my backpack.

> 3 daythis umbrella is a good size, very durable, but the only thing about this is that if it did not dry properly the tips at the edge of the umbrella would rust. MAKE SURE TO DRY before storing.

> 3 dayThis is the second totes golf umbrella Ive purchased. I had the previous one for 2 years but I lost it on the train. It was such a sturdy, reliable, big, and compact umbrella I knew I had to get the same one to replace it. Fantastic!

Greater than one weekThis is a great umbrella. It is the first collapsing umbrella I have found that really holds up to the wind in Chicago. And in case youre wondering, this really does open up to the full size of a golf umbrella. It is a bit longer and heavier than most folding umbrellas, but that is the price you pay for something that is this sturdy and provides maximum protection from the rain. It fits into my backpack with all of the other stuff I cram in there - but I have a large backpack. I have gone through many umbrellas over the years, but I am very happy with this purchase and have no reason to think it wont hold up for a long time.

> 3 dayI finally decided I was fed up with the poor-quality folding umbrellas I always end up buying from CVS or wherever because my existing poor-quality umbrella had a catastrophic failure during a downpour. You spend like $12 and the thing has a hole in it after one or two uses, or one of the spines breaks and your umbrella is all floppy on that side. Even when its brand new, that cheapy umbrella is so small that youre soaked from the knees down by the time you get where youre going. I walk about 1.5 miles to work, and I dont want to get there miserable and wet. I saw a colleague with this umbrella and took it right out of her hand so I could find out what brand it was, then went to Amazon and ordered it immediately. My favorite thing about this umbrella is the size-no more wet legs!! It folds down to a reasonable size. I will say that this umbrella is heavy; I dont carry it all the time just in case of rain-its too heavy to tote around unless rain is in the forecast. But that is the tradeoff for the quality and durability of the product. Im very happy with it!
