> 3 dayI am very picky person, so of course I spent hours searching for an umbrella (crazy, right?). I was a little skeptical about ordering this umbrella because I thought it would be too big, but its actually a good size. Just looks larger online (duh). This umbrella was delivered just in time because the next day there was a thunderstorm with high winds. In the past, my umbrellas wouldnt stand a chance as they couldnt take heavy winds and sometimes my umbrella will turn inside out. Expecting the same for this one, I was surprised that I was able to hold it without any problems - handles wind like its nothing! My only minor complaint is that its a bit on the heavy side. Its my first time owning a vented umbrella so I wasnt expecting the weight to be on the heavy side, but its not a big deal after holding it for a bit. Would recommend this umbrella to anyone!

> 3 dayI just received this umbrella today, so it hasnt been rain/wind tested yet. I looked it over, opened it up and inspected it. Everything looks good. No holes, no snags, and no loose pieces. The color was as expected. It feels solid and doesnt feel that heavy to me. Its not as light as a little tote umbrella, but its three times the size! Update: Been in a few rain storms in South Florida and its holding up fine. I dont think its that heavy at all. If Id change anything, Id have made the handle a bit longer. It barely fits in my hand. For an umbrella this big, a longer handle would be nice.

> 3 dayIve actually purchased this twice because my first one was borrowed forever by my sister. This is a solid umbrella that when collapsed is just about 20.5 long. When opened the canopy is large and has a great handle with good grip. Here in NYC lots of people buy the cheap $5 street umbrellas but those things will disintegrate in a large gust or a collision. Dont lose or let people borrow this and itll last you longer and keep you dryer.

Greater than one weekI thought this would be more compact but thats part of the caveat emptor of buying on the internet. However, although larger than I wanted, this is an EXCELLENT umbrella that will keep the rain off me -- and after all, thats the purpose of an umbrella.

> 3 dayI live in Chicago the windy city and today it live up to its reputation. I work downtown also I walk about 5 blocks to my train the wind was blowing and the rain coming down in all directions, my Totes umbrella bear the storm. Since purchasing mine I have bought one for a co-worker and my sister and both love this umbrella. If you looking for a great umbrella this is what you want to buy, thank you Totes

> 3 dayThis is the best umbrella! Big, sturdy, doesnt flip inside out in the wind, easy to open and close, and has a comfortable handle. Its a bit heavier, so it can be tiring if youre carrying a lot and trying to hold the umbrella as well, or lugging it around with you after the rain stops. It is also pretty long when closed - doesnt fit in my backpack or most purses. Still my favorite umbrella.

> 3 dayIts a good quality umbrella, but what good is it if its too heavy to carry? If manufacturers are going with this size, they need to switch to more exotic materials - aluminum and steel simply wont do the job without being too heavy. I have never used this umbrella, in the past few months, because I cannot carry it for extended durations. Id rather get a bit wet, that end up with carpal tunnel syndrome.

> 3 dayMy old umbrella is at least 20 years old, but finally starting to show some wear. I opened it up to see what brand it was and it was a Totes. Bought some other designer umbrellas at T-Maxx or Marshalls and they fell apart quickly. I was initially concerned with the size being huge or the weight. I like that it is vented, the grip is rubber and has a nice feel and the color combination matches my cars interior. Like the design and everything about it. I hope it last 20 years like my last one.

> 3 dayAfter my son and I got caught in a really heavy rainstorm that blew my previous umbrella inside out and broke it, I wanted an umbrella that would be compact, easy to carry, and would be able to cover both me and my baby when I carry him. This umbrella is huge and stores fairly easy for its size. It seems very sturdy and I like the blue color. Now I find myself wishing for rain so that I get to use it!
