> 3 dayI was looking for a large umbrella in our school colors and this one is exactly what I was looking for!! Its very sturdy, has a comfortable grip handle & is large enough to protect a couple adults from the wind and rain!! A bonus with this golf-size umbrella is that it folds very compact, which was a nice feature!! I am happy with my purchase...unfortunately (or maybe, fortunately) it has only rained once during our soccer games since I bought it!

Greater than one week*Unusual for such a compact umbrella: its high quality gust buster dual canopy holds up very well in strong winds. *Nice padded rubberized handle. *One-handed push-button operation opens reliably when youre holding stuff in other hand and rain is pouring down. *Broad coverage, yet folds compact for stowing in briefcase or backpack. *Red and Black is very visible in crosswalks on dark, rainy Boston days.

Greater than one weekThis is one of the largest folding umbrellas you can get...about 56 across, so you can walk with another person no problem. Its not as big as a full-sized golf or bellman umbrella, which is about 68, but I needed it to fold. Its auto-open, but manual close, which is fine. It has a wrist strap and a comfortable handle. The nylon/netted case it comes with is pretty useless, really, as it has no shoulder strap.

> 3 dayProvides a good balance between size when opened and size when closed (can fit in my backpack). I bought a second one because my kid stole my first one, which I received from Totes after a different model failed with little use. Their products have a lifetime warranty and they will honor it. So glad they sent me one of these, because Im totally sold on them now.

> 3 dayThis is a great umbrella for the price. My only issue is with the word compact. yea, its more like compact-ish. Its not quite a tote, not something you could toss into a bag, but smaller than a full-size. The trade-off is that it covers quite a bit more than a tote umbrella. Solidly built.

> 3 dayLiving on the gulf coast we are subject to frequent and heavy thunderstorms. I used my umbrella this week in flash flood weather and it was well balanced and very easy to managed. While my shoes were drenched to the ankle, not a drop got no me or my files as I walked up a slight incline to through the prison gates (I am a lawyer). The auto deployment is smooth and very sturdy and folding it down when I got inside was a breeze. Very compact and well made. Am buying a few more for family and staff!!!

Greater than one weekThis is a great umbrella; I ordered two. One for the house and one for my truck. Have used it once and its definitely sturdy and folds down relatively small compared to other umbrellas its size. It is a bit heavy as another reviewer mentioned, but I think that is the trade off to have something so well made. Both me and my husband can walk under it comfortably and not get wet. I ordered the Navy/White combination and I think it has a nice look to it!

> 3 dayIts a good quality umbrella, but what good is it if its too heavy to carry? If manufacturers are going with this size, they need to switch to more exotic materials - aluminum and steel simply wont do the job without being too heavy. I have never used this umbrella, in the past few months, because I cannot carry it for extended durations. Id rather get a bit wet, that end up with carpal tunnel syndrome.

> 3 dayIm use to umbrellas with a large canopy and this one fits the bill. I havent had to experience strong winds just yet, but it has held up to heavy rain. The umbrella is a tad heavy, but I think it is because of the material used to construct it. Either way its all stars from me!

> 3 dayThis is a great umbrella. It is the first collapsing umbrella I have found that really holds up to the wind in Chicago. And in case youre wondering, this really does open up to the full size of a golf umbrella. It is a bit longer and heavier than most folding umbrellas, but that is the price you pay for something that is this sturdy and provides maximum protection from the rain. It fits into my backpack with all of the other stuff I cram in there - but I have a large backpack. I have gone through many umbrellas over the years, but I am very happy with this purchase and have no reason to think it wont hold up for a long time.
