> 3 dayThis is a very good umbrella. I purchased it because my old umbrella broke and I liked the idea of adding a little color to the streets of New York. I have not had an issue with wind with it (which is good, because I live in a wind tunnel. Only thing I would change is possibly to include a button to have it detract or at least fold the umbrella up. As it stands now, to close, you pull it back. This is a minor request.

Greater than one weekMy only complaint about this umbrella is that there is no auto close. It really bothers me. I thought pretty much all totes umbrellas were auto close, but this one is not. Other than that its great. Ive had no issues with the material collecting water or anything. The size is great to stay dry on my walk from the car to the office. The air flow vent is perfect for windy thunderstorms.

> 3 dayI love this umbrella. Ive had it a few months and it has withstood some nasty downpours. I live in New York City, and this umbrella is sized just right: big enough to keep me dry, but not so big that Im one of those people who hog the whole sidewalk with my massive umbrella. It handles wind well, too. I only have two criticisms, neither of which is enough to knock a star off: 1. When folded up, its just a little too big to fit in my backpack, which would be nice. 2. Sometimes, when walking, the flap on top will make a rhythmic thump-thump with each step I take Other than that, its perfect for me.

> 3 dayIf you hate getting wet and need a huge umbrella, this is your umbrella. Covers myself and my gigantic book bag walking to, and between classes. Its vented so it wont get away from you if a large wind comes up. Ive never had an issue with it. If you dont mind carrying a really large umbrella then check this one out.

> 3 dayI live in Chicago where it gets a bit windy. The umbrella will flip inside out if caught in some wind, but its overall a decent product and I would buy again. I did like the handle, good grip and easy to hold for long periods of time.

> 3 dayWorks great. The area I live is ALWAYS windy and this umbrella has yet to fail me. It has a nice wide span, which is great when youre a tall dude, because that way you only get wet below the knees. As others have said, it is kinda heavy, so dont buy it if you cant handle carrying 2 pounds. On the plus side, if you live in a bad area, you could probably use it to beat the crap out of someone when its not in use.

> 3 dayIm tall and needed a bigger umbrella in order to keep rain from soaking the bottom of my pants; this does the job. The umbrella opens and closes smoothly and the handle is comfortable. It is very large when collapsed, so I would look elsewhere if you need something that will fit into a small commuter bag or backpack. My only gripe: while its larger in diameter than collapsable umbrellas, I think calling it golf sized if being a little generous.

> 3 dayFinally retired my last totes umbrella after 14 years of dependable service in Miamis tropical climate. Its a little smelly, a little bent, but mostly functional so itll sit as backup in the car. This new one feels comparable in build and quality and has already kept me dry in a couple unexpected late-season squalls. The size of this umbrella is its strength, and they only minor complaint I have is that the spring inside to extend it from its collapsed position is too weak, needs a little help to self-open.

> 3 dayI just received this umbrella today, so it hasnt been rain/wind tested yet. I looked it over, opened it up and inspected it. Everything looks good. No holes, no snags, and no loose pieces. The color was as expected. It feels solid and doesnt feel that heavy to me. Its not as light as a little tote umbrella, but its three times the size! Update: Been in a few rain storms in South Florida and its holding up fine. I dont think its that heavy at all. If Id change anything, Id have made the handle a bit longer. It barely fits in my hand. For an umbrella this big, a longer handle would be nice.

> 3 dayvery good i dont get wet at all even when im sharing it with someone, just you make sure you notice this is a product for 2 people, not for self use, otherwise youll look like a douche hogging up all the space on the sidewalk carrying this umbrella around
