Trigger Start Torch

> 3 dayAfter struggling through my latest plumbing project with my old cheapo basic torch and propane cylinder I finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to a proper torch. I picked up this torch in a set with a tank of Map gas from the local big box but it is the same torch Amazon sells. While sweating copper pipe and fittings wasnt an issue with the old torch I was having a difficult time with the bronze and brass valves I was using. I just couldnt get enough heat into the valve ends to flow the solder properly. I ended up doing one side of the valve then switching over and doing the other side which is a recipe for leaks and they surely showed up. This torch totally solved the problem and makes the job so much easier and enjoyable. You can solder 3/4 copper fittings in a just seconds and I was amazed how quickly this baby took care of the valves. No more moving from side to side trying trying get enough heat into the bronze/brass. It is one of those purchases I wish I would have made in the first place instead of struggling for years with my original torch.

> 3 dayThis design is a LOT-better than its older, non-adjustable version. Works-well with BOTH-LP & MAAP, due to its adjustability. If ya want it hot? Itll do it for ya, as long as you can keep its appetite for fuel well-fed! But, thats where the adjustment-knob comes into play, and youre glad its there, too...!

> 3 dayThis is the upgraded version from the 4000 model as it has an adjustable flame. Expands the usages as its not on full blast high. From starting fires to shrink heat tubing to crafts, etc.. If you dont have one...you need one. Merica!

> 3 dayThis product works alright, although the trigger lock is not intuitive. At the end of the day my feelings are that its just not worth the money.

> 3 dayI got a lemon. Takes 4-5 times to ignite when below 40 degrees. The torch Head isnt centered. It loosened up after a few times using it.
