Mine did NOT come with the adjustable flame control knob as advertised. These are good torches, I just really need the flame control knob for my application.

This high heat torch produces a big flame. While it is adjustable, I sometimes wish it could be adjusted to an even lower heat pinpoint, yet other tools exist for those tasks. However, the flame can be used for brazing aluminum, and is quite capable when soldering copper pipe joints.

Excellent torch. Hot enough so i dont have to lug the bigger torches around all the time.

Convenient to not have to light the torch with an outside flame.

I bought this to go with the Searzall searer, its the recommended torch for it. If you are overseas from the USA dont try and buy it with the gas cylinder. (which are available at hardware stores (like Bunnings)) Torch starts easily, and you can lock the flame on.

Finally forked over the money for the good one and the only thing I regret is not going with it sooner.

So far Ive only used it a few times to help start bonfires. The bonfire I did got roaring quite a bit faster than usual. It works very well and the flame is definitely adjustable with the adjustment valve and it started right up. It is also very heavy duty. I dont know how this will hold up over a couple years and many times of use but so far so good!

It is awesome for steak searing. Fits on standard propane tank I use for my camping grill. Very stable on the surface. Two safety features - never leaks. Great design. I used it for many things in the kitchen - even used to light some candles, start a bonfire.I also keep a separate one for garage work. It never gets hot (the plastic part) even when I use it for an extended time period.

Easy to handle - have used to cook eggs per the advertisement and to put a nice char on sous vide steaks. Have used with the green coleman tanks and the burnzomatic blue tanks without problems. Bought this along with the Searzall and happy we did. Combined with the Searszall, it does get top heavy. Will stand upright with a standard coleman propane tank and a Searzall. Havent tried it with the narrow Burnzomatic tanks + Searzall so Im not sure if it will stand upright or not.
