Trigger Start Torch

Easy to hold . And is well balanced .

I must have 5 or 6 propane torches. All will work OK if I have to sweat in a copper pipe or heat something up, but they are just a but weak on output. I have one of those mini Oxy/Fuel torches, but it goes thru the oxygen SO FAST and the little oxygen cylinders are expensive. This Bernzy TS8000 has rave reviews everywhere, not just Amazon, so I thought Id give it a try. Sure you can get a propane torch for less than $42 but this one IS different. I ordered some Mapp gas at same time as the torch. Torch arrived first Amazon Prime, so naturally I had to give it a test run with plain old propane. WOW - it was notably hotter than my plain Jane propane rigs. Something in the engineering of the torch assembly and head itself. Once I received the App gas, I went at it again bending 16 gauge sheet metal for a steel rose I was making. No problem. I am so glad I went ahead and spent the dough for one of these.

This is great product but turn it down or you will melt copper pipes great for heating metal

Bought for sous vide steaks along with a Searzall. Simply a superb torch. Flame adjustment is easy, ignition is reliable. No complaints

yes this cranks out the heat, but you cannot get a precise cone to focus the heat. It worked great melting part of a 55 gallon drum into a mulch cover for my mower.

Propane work now to try other things after Christmas
