Although I’m more than proficient in computer use I’m not extremely tech savvy when it comes to computer specs, so this review won’t be about those. This review is about my experience with this laptop as an everyday laptop user.

Laptop froze three times in the span of 2 hours of setup. Not worth it.

HIGHLY disappointed. I bought this for my nephew for college. Within a month or so he got a blue screen. He troubleshot this for a week and wasnt able to fix it. Weve reached out to Acer support and they are the worst. Getting someone on the phone is difficult and trying to get any answers or help is non-existent. ACER PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

The track pad is off centered and its kindof hard to use. The computer is pretty fast and gets the job done.

With the s mode I was not able to install my printer also Google and Google app store you may want to think this over.serfing is good and is fast.

Highly recommend

I bought this for my wife as an alternative to the MacBook Air. The screen is obviously not as crisp, but this model has backlit keyboard, a decent sized SSD (love the ease of adding another SSD or extra RAM), and a 1080p camera, to do everything one might need to work online. It took several hours to set up with all the system updates (there are half a dozen or more), and to tweak settings, as Windows sets up a lot of defaults I disagree with. Some folks have complained about quality control issues, and the boot recovery has been tweaked so that I can’t set the timeout on keyboard backlight (as some comments have mentioned) but this is a solid performer so far, especially at less than $500. Giving only 4 stars at the moment to see if screen hinge (mentioned as #1 quality control problem) causes problems, as my wife has only had for a few weeks. So far, though, as a Mac guy, I’m impressed.

I bought this 2 wks ago to replace my Dell laptop that crashed. I LOVE this laptop !! It is so easy, fast, sleek, great keyboard for fast typing, great screen quality and more. I am amazed for the price!! Did I mention fast?!
