This is the fastest loading computer Ive experienced. Its quiet and the backlit keyboard really helps because my den is rather dark and thats where I use the computer daily.

I have used this laptop every day for about a year and I think I can safely say this is a great investment for anyone who will primarily use it for school, web surfing, watching TV shows/movies, or most work-related activities. It is NOT a gaming laptop by any stretch of the imagination. This is a utility laptop rather than a machine that can run extremely graphic intensive programs or triple-A games, so look elsewhere if you want that type of experience.

Wow, I bought this as a budget computer for travel, as I was not comfortable traveling with my main laptop, ASUS Tuf with a Ryzen 7 and lots of software. So I bought this ACER Aspire, knowing it was a little light on SSD and RAM. For daily use, email and web, it is perfect. I ask a little more as I do Vector art, video editing and graphics, so added an additional SSD and 8 gigs of RAM. This machine is super easy to upgrade! OK, so it has a Ryzen 3. This CPU is comparable to Intel 7 of a couple 2020 according to bench marks. What it lacks in cores it makes up for in speed. Same applies to onboard graphics. Its not a gaming machine, the graphics for anyone else are outstanding. Battery life is excellent, I run the Acer Care software and limit the battery charging to 80% to save it. I get 5 hours on 80 %.

We purchased 2 of these. One totally quit working. You cant even open in safe mode. Its useless to us. And now its too late to send back. So were paying for nothing....literally.

Great price and Value.

Acer advertises that you can put a hard drive in the laptop. You can put a hard drive in the laptop. However, the connector on the mother board will not hold the ribbon cable down to make a good connection, therefore, the hard drive will not get recognized by the system.

Muy buen equipo hasta los momentos, funciona rápido y el teclado es muy comfortable de utilizar. Sin embargo, en la descripción dice que tiene huella táctil (incluido en el mouse), pero este modelo que recibí, no lo tiene.

Overall this laptop is a great purchase...the only downfall for me was the speakers are very low even at a 100% Volume
