Similarly priced budget laptops from Walmart by HP feature similar specs but a cheaper build quality. They also lack the screen quality and backlit keyboard. I used to have an HP I could have upgraded to 32 GB of RAM after a visit to MicroCenter but this machine tops out at 20 GB. The fan runs often on certain tasks even with a cooling fan underneath it. These aren’t processor intensive applications!

I dont play games so dont know about gaming on it but great for home use dont have any complaints

I bought to use for research seems to work well. no problems setting it up. I did notice the battery is short lived while working it could last longer . When I received the computer there was no charging cable I contacted Acer and they sent one which was here in 2 days. All in all not a bad laptop. I think my next laptop will be a different brand. For what I use it for its ok.

Pros:

The mouse stopped working after a couple months and when we took it into a repair shop we were told it was a manufacturer issue.

mostly amazon wont stand behind the product they sell. i have had this pc for 3 months and it got wonky, the pc was out of warranty and its only been 3 months, how do you get that one done?
