I was a little hesitant on purchasing but the quality looks good and so far so good.

Acer consistently seems to make great everyday laptops which last for a fair amount of time. Ordering this 2019 released laptop in 2022 can be seen as an interesting move, but I was pleasantly surprised and how functional it is for the price. At $499 (at the time of this post), you’re looking at a midrange specs simple pc that handles Windows 11 very quickly.

Quería esperar un tiempo prudente probando el equipo antes de dar una opinión. La verdad es que la laptop es muy buena. En cuanto al envío, estaba muy nerviosa de que se pudiera dañar algo durante el envío y cuando me llegó, la caja que cubría la caja de la laptop estaba muy golpeada y me asusté, pero cuando la abrí, la caja de la laptop estaba intacta y luego de casi dos meses usando la laptop sinceramente me parece una buena maquina. Para trabajos es perfecta, puedo diseñar usando los programas de Adobe sin ningún problema y es muy rápida. También la probé con videojuegos y la verdad es que ciertos juegos se puede jugar, pero claro titulos muy exigentes es posible que de problemas. lo estuve probando con el juego de Resident Evil 3 Remake y la verdad es que lo pude jugar de principio a fin, pero si que tuve que hacerle modificaciones porque los FPS no eran muy estables. El problema más bien esta en la VRAM, la memoria dedicada es muy poca y no deja que esos juegos corran mejor, aunque si que es verdad que la laptop te deja hacer una amplicación tanto en la memoria RAM como en el disco duro. Aun así el equipo es muy bueno y hasta ahora ha trabajado muy bien.

Tried multiple docks and cant get dual monitors or ethernet to work.

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire 5 laptop and was pleased with it. The laptop is lightweight and easy to carry around with me. The battery life is ok so far and the laptop charges quickly. The laptop runs quickly and smoothly with no lag. The display is crystal clear and the sound quality pretty impressive. . Overall, I am extremely pleased with this laptop and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable laptop.

I have now owned this Acer Aspire 5 A515-45 for nearly 2 weeks and thank goodness for my banks purchase protection program. Its one of the worst laptops Ive owned and not surprised its made the bottom of the barrel on Amazon. Your out of your mind if you buy a laptop on Amazon who does about as much quality control as a used car salesman. From the very first day, the laptop started crashing in the middle of simply opening a browser or website or in the middle of an application. I have downloaded all normal apps that anyone would use, i..e Adobe...Office365..etc. I do not watch videos or nor do I play games on the machine. They boast about having a 1080 HD screen , ultra fast wifi yet I find this machine is as slow and the graphics as poor as my 5 year old Dell. But then again, how can you watch a video or play a game if the machine crashes inexplicably on a daily basis.

I was looking for just the right laptop and finally found it with this Acer!! I game some, nothing major, but I research a lot and this laptop is perfect for my needs!!

Just bought this laptop and within the first day of using it - all my meetings had horrible reverb on the sound (both google meet and zoom so it was definitely the laptop). Even youtube videos had reverb. The camera shut down on my first zoom halfway and would not let me reopen. My evernote would flash open when I clicked it but on the corner of the screen and would not let me move it. Contacted support and they told me to reboot it and then asked me if my problem was solved. It wasnt....
