> 3 dayI had a couple of random restarts that were concerning but the real deal killer was the audio. On video calls with my daughter, the sound would just stop working and youd have to end the call and restart. Some videos were inaudible with the volume all the way up. External speakers werent much better. I dont know if it was an issue with the jack or the speakers or the cord. Again, there were times it was inaudible and then it would be too loud because you had to have the volume full blast the majority of the time cuz you could barely hear anything. And tick, tick, tick every time you clicked on something. These are the same speakers I was using for my PC and I did not have that problem. Its a shame really, because other than that, it was an ok laptop. The screen was ok. When it wasnt crashing it was fast. I would probably reset it and given it a second chance if it wasnt for the sound. And then, I also bought stuff to go with it like an extra mouse for travel and a laptop desk for sitting on the couch. Im not going to be returning all that so expense I didnt need. All in all, kinda turned me off to laptops.

> 3 dayI’m not a gamer but this laptop does allow me to work efficiently. I’m a realtor and work mostly from home. I don’t download games or pictures to my laptop. I deal with several different websites for work. We do a lot of documents and photos with Dropbox. The laptop is small and perfect for travel. I work long hours so it stays charged about 7 hrs. Good enough for my work and $500 worth the price. Would recommend this laptop and purchase again.

> 3 dayWow, I bought this as a budget computer for travel, as I was not comfortable traveling with my main laptop, ASUS Tuf with a Ryzen 7 and lots of software. So I bought this ACER Aspire, knowing it was a little light on SSD and RAM. For daily use, email and web, it is perfect. I ask a little more as I do Vector art, video editing and graphics, so added an additional SSD and 8 gigs of RAM. This machine is super easy to upgrade! OK, so it has a Ryzen 3. This CPU is comparable to Intel 7 of a couple 2020 according to bench marks. What it lacks in cores it makes up for in speed. Same applies to onboard graphics. Its not a gaming machine, the graphics for anyone else are outstanding. Battery life is excellent, I run the Acer Care software and limit the battery charging to 80% to save it. I get 5 hours on 80 %.
