This laptop works well for my needs. I replaced the ssd it came with for a 500gb one and added a 4gb memory stick. I also installed linux mint (cinnamon) and upgraded to the newest kernel so everything would work properly. I installed wine 7 and Final Fantasy 11 and it all runs smoothly. I also use it for Project Gorgon (Steam) as well when I need to be away from my main computer. This is by no means a gaming laptop for modern games but older games should be fine. The wifi wouldnt work until I upgraded to the newest Kernel but that is easy to do in Mint. I would recommend this laptop.

I’ve had a bunch of computers that I’ve went thru and this has to be my favorite of all time! It’s super fast and the graphics are pretty awesome! The price is really good for this computer!

Although the laptop is 10, the entire keyboard is crammed into only 4. I did not realize how small the keys were going to be. I wish I had enlarged and looked closer at an image of the keyboard before purchasing. As someone who is used to using the number pad a lot, I was really disappointed in it. If you are used to using the number pad by feel rather than sight it is impossible. The keys are not in the same typical arrangement (see comparison photo). I also included an example of how small keys are.

The Acer Aspire 15 has been a super great laptop. Its probably one of the best tech purchases I have ever made and Im an IT guy. I paid about $350 USD for this one and am very happy with the purchase. The last time I was searching for a Laptop I returned 5 laptops before I was satisfied so Im pretty picky. This was for my wife but I use it at night when Im not in my office sometimes.

Broken in a day, but runs very slow. Def not up to par for educational use let alone gaming

Its fast but doesnt have a finger print reader or face recognition. Updated windows 11 takes some getting use to if youre a prior windows xp user. No touch screen interface.

Years of Hp machines giving me issue so I got this to try something new. Light but metal cover is nice sets up smooth.

I got this pc after doing my research, and it showed me that this pc is the best bang for the buck at $400. Its remarkably fast and just great for general internet use. I did not buy it to play games, and I dont use the touch screen. I highly recommend it for anyone just using a pc for general internet use. By the way, I love the backlit keyboard.
