> 3 dayIm currently using the AXE11000 as the main router in an aimesh configuration. I have two nodes consisting of a GT-5300 and an RT-3100, all connected via Cat6 ethernet cable. The problem is the setup doesnt seem to handle the second 5ghz radio on the GT-5300 correctly. I am using WPA2/WPA3 security throughout, however, the second radio on the 5300 shows on the network as OPEN and has complete access to the network. I have contacted Asus. If I dont have a firmware update within a couple of days, Ill have to return the unit.

> 3 dayRecently upgraded from a Netgear Nighthawk AX4 and I got to say that I am quite impressed with this router. We have around 50+ devices running in the household and the AX4 definitely was bogging down at times and the range was quite bad. This routers range is absolutely insane compared to the AX4, not to mention it would be easy to hook up AiMesh which was very limited on the Netgears model as well. The Web GUI/App seems to work much better than the Netgears and provides so much more information. The AiProtection is a nice added bonus compared to the Netgears, but that is something that was available to a lot of asus routers in the past. The few downsides that I see is that it is a chunky boy for sure and I was quite disappointed to find out that a lifetime WTFast account was not provided and only a 90day free trial of OutFox was replacing it. Otherwise, this router is quite a beast.

> 3 dayThis is a great router. It replaced the previous model, and I used the old one to set up an aimesh network and they are working great. It is a bit pricey, but the latest and greatest always are.

> 3 dayMy house is a 2400 sqft. 1 floor. This range covers a MINIMUM of 3-4 signal bars for the whole house at 50-70 feet. Has an app you can download on phone to control settings and gives you full control over the router. I would recommend this device for everyone who hates lagging!!! This wireless is faster than my ethernet connection which it should have been the opposite and i have CAT 7 ethernet cord.

> 3 dayFor context: I use this product with (1) an AT&T multi gig plan and (2) a set of ZenWifi Pro AXE11000s I order to create a true AiMesh system in a multi-story home (more than 2 stories).

> 3 dayThe 1261.10Mbps picture represents a WiFi speed test from my laptop. The 1423.33Mbps picture represents a wired speed test from the router. This thing is a beast.

> 3 dayThis thing is huge! Right out the box downloads are above 900 mbps. The GUI has tons of options. It blew my Linksys AC3200 out of the water. Best download speed with my Linksys was about 500 mbps. I’m very happy!!

> 3 dayYou have been thinking about upgrading, waiting for the axe-16000, just get this axe-11000. It works great, signal is amazing. I have some machines wired in because I do have gig service and I like seeing 900mbs speed tests. As far as nas, yup, this has you covered if you just want to plug in a portable drive or have a file server that you want on the network it shall work and you will love the speeds.

> 3 dayI purchased this router because I already had ASUS routers in my home and this is a beast of a router filled with the most modern features available on a home router! If only it did VLANs, that would be amazing. But I quickly took advantage of the WiFI 6e feature, allowing me to have the fastest and most up-to-date standard available at the time of this review. Now my cell phones get amazing speeds. Im also taking advantage of using WiFi 6 with the AiMESH technology. I have the main router in my office, and I also have two other routers in my home acting as MESH points/locations. Inside the management portal of the router, it shows how and what devices are connected to what MESH device. At first, the devices werent spreading already like I hoped they did, but after a while, I noticed that the various WiFi devices in my home were picking the best signal for it which is great! I have approximately 9 WiFi devices so this is great. Another cool feature is that it will let you connect multiple ISP Internet connections to it. You can pick various options on how to manage this. Of course, buying say a cable and fiber from the phone company can be expensive, it sure would be cool. Due to the cost, I havent decided to do this, but I think its cool that is there just in case! There are a ton of other features to explore. This is mighty expensive to purchase at the time of this review, but for me, it was worth having the latest and great technology managing my network and having a router that is providing firmware updates! Cheers!
