Love me some latest and greatest ASUS ROG Gaming Routers. Box was shipped without protection!!

Replaced two Netgear Routes used to cover the house and this one does it so much better. No more mini outages during work because we have so many devices the old router could not handle it. Finally get to use my FIOS speeds that I pay for and streaming is smooth no more resolution drops in the middle of a movie.

Id like to see 4 gigs of Ram as it uses 60% + of the stock 2 gigs right out the door...

To keep it short, the router was incredible for about 2 weeks, then the problems started. Primarily on the WiFi channels. We have had frequent disconnects, prehistorically slow speeds (1-3mbps), and low range. I have tried literally everything to fix it. I have also spent days upon days on forums trying to figure it out, and apparently Im not the only one with this problem. Unfortunately this is my second ASUS router, and neither have worked well at all for me. I will be giving Netgears RAXE500 a try, as Ive had success with them in the past.

This is the Beast of all Beast. I have fiber to the home. since it supports VLAN tagging no ISP router needed. Witch makes even faster. A.I.MESH works great. You have to make sure the two units are far away from each other or there will be problems. SOOO worth the money.

Didn’t read all the fine print and returned once I learned this was not quad band.

Had high hopes for this ASUS product but have become quite disgusted with such a waste of money. The router has many features but this particular model suffered from the git go with a 100mb limitation. Contacted ASUS Tech support and supplied them with all the information they requested and have not heard a thing. tried their website chat support at 6:30am their time and of course their stated open time of 6am was missed.

My 2x AX92U nodes are each using Ethernet Backhaul Mode with my AXE11000. My AXE11000 has 3 separate SSID’s, because I had to disable Smart Connect due to some legacy devices not being able to connect to the router or AIMesh.

The trailblazing ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 is the world"s very first quad-band WiFi 6E gaming router, delivering incredible speeds of up to 16000 Mbps. We"ve unlocked the full potential of the four frequency bands — 2.4 GHz, two 5 GHz bands, and 6 GHz to bring you the fastest speeds possible.
