I love this thing. The app makes it super easy to control. Getting 1000Mb/s on my phone is pretty crazy. My 2 story house is a web of super high end equipment and this thing doesnt skip a beat. You get what you pay for people.

Had expectations for this router when I bought it, but not only were the expectations not met, but the experience was worse than my old ASUS router.

This is an interesting router, but unfortunately it’s performance do not live up to it’s spec sheet.

Works great, should for the price. You must setup using 1gb port, then change to the 2.5gb port. Enable Adaptive QoS to reduce bufferbloat.

I wanted to upgrade so I bought what today would be considered the best within affordable.

I actually got a laundry basket in the mail instead and had to go through a whole return process with Amazon. My friend tried and bought this and I helped him connect it. The web GUI sucks. The WiFi was worse than the Fiber modem AT&T gave him with his service. The dual WAN feature didnt work. Buggy as all hell. He ended up returning this thing.

ASUS router once again dont disappoint. Thing is an beast. Upgraded from a 5300, which was no slouch IMO.. But man the 11k seems like a huge performance enhancement for sure. WPA3 support was an absolute security requirement. WIFI 6E compliant for future proof when the adapters finally come down in price. Running WIFI 6 adapters over the 5 gig band is impressive. Purchased a 6E adapter for supporting Amazon Prime streaming out to large 60 inch monitor via HDMI. Still waiting on that delivery. Will update this post once I have some time and data on my implementation.
