Everything except my work laptop was able to connect. Unfortunately this makes this product completely useless.

I tried to connect to a 6G network from my pc but to no avail and I dont know why, I followed many explanations on YouTube and how to connect from Windows, many people suffer from the same problem, it works for some and fails for others.

Websites frequently freeze when loading (or entirely fail to load) with the recent October 2022 firmware update. I have to buy a new router to access Wi-Fi reliably due to that recently-introduced bug.

This router (GT-AX11000 Pro) is an absolute beast. It a refresh/remake of the fan favorite (the GT-AX11000) Its extremely customizable with free lifetime router-level anti-malware. I really like how you can administer the router via a browser or an app (the app is a nice bonus but not required) The range is great and the whole thing looks really sharp even if a tiny bit menacing.

This router worked great for six weeks then stopped connecting with the internet. After troubleshooting with my internet provider and ASUS technical support including swapping out on-hand equipment with what was in service, the conclusion is that the new ASUS RT-AXE11000 router failed. I have been trying to get a replacement but no word from ASUS on availability. My own opinion is that they put this product out too early and can’t support replacement of failures. They wanted me to pay for return shipping too on a six week old unit! Still no resolution. If I were you I’d wait a while to see about reliability and service before buying this.

Lots of connection issues. On any given day, I would look at the SSID in the system tray on my PC and see it appended with a number like 5 or 7 indicating repeat disconnect/reconnects. Unsure if this was a DHCP issue or connectivity issue. The massive antenna array had weaker 5ghz signal in my house than previous RT-AC87R. This was with latest firmware installed. I used a reserved IP for my laptop. The table of reserved IPs and other settings were loaded onto the router using the Asus settings backup/restore tool. Used separate ssids for 5ghz, 2.5ghz, and 6ghz in order to troubleshoot. Same SSIDs as my previous router to avoid having to manually reconfigure devices.

I purchased this router because I already had ASUS routers in my home and this is a beast of a router filled with the most modern features available on a home router! If only it did VLANs, that would be amazing. But I quickly took advantage of the WiFI 6e feature, allowing me to have the fastest and most up-to-date standard available at the time of this review. Now my cell phones get amazing speeds. Im also taking advantage of using WiFi 6 with the AiMESH technology. I have the main router in my office, and I also have two other routers in my home acting as MESH points/locations. Inside the management portal of the router, it shows how and what devices are connected to what MESH device. At first, the devices werent spreading already like I hoped they did, but after a while, I noticed that the various WiFi devices in my home were picking the best signal for it which is great! I have approximately 9 WiFi devices so this is great. Another cool feature is that it will let you connect multiple ISP Internet connections to it. You can pick various options on how to manage this. Of course, buying say a cable and fiber from the phone company can be expensive, it sure would be cool. Due to the cost, I havent decided to do this, but I think its cool that is there just in case! There are a ton of other features to explore. This is mighty expensive to purchase at the time of this review, but for me, it was worth having the latest and great technology managing my network and having a router that is providing firmware updates! 6 GHz channel works great. Its a decent router.
